Video: A 9 Year Old Boy Helped Save His Mom’s Life By Refusing To Listen To Her 2024, May

Danish resident Anja Ringgren Loven, who works in Nigeria to help rejected children, rescued a 2-year-old boy who was kicked out into the street by his parents and the entire community of the village, calling him a sorcerer.

It was 8 months ago and the boy, who at that time had barely learned to walk, barely survived, eating scraps that were thrown at him by passers-by.

When Anya found him on January 31, 2016, he was covered in mud, on the verge of exhaustion and was suffering from hunger and thirst. Horrified by the child's condition, Anya began to water the baby right on the street and gave him cookies. Then she wrapped the baby in a blanket and took him to the hospital.

But now, two weeks later, he already looks much better than when he was found. On her Facebook, Anya notes that the child's condition was critical, but now he is gaining weight.

For three years Anya has been saving boys and girls in Nigeria, who, like Hope, are rejected and expelled by their own parents, calling them witches and sorcerers and considering them dangerous for the community. During this time she saw many tortured children, murdered children, children who were tortured or intimidated.

With the help of charitable funds from caring people, Anya tries to help these children as much as she can. The money goes to a special children's center organized by Anya, where children are treated, fed and educated. Also Anya and her husband David Emmanuel Umem have recently begun to build an orphanage where the children they saved will live.
