From the last building of the sanatorium "Kisegach" (South Urals) it is separated by 400 meters of forest trail. Lyubov Alekseevna from Chelyabinsk showed me the way to the strange stone. A broken stone in the vicinity of a health resort called "Broken Heart" causes her bewilderment, coupled with excitement, which is categorically contraindicated for the heart.

But, oddly enough, it is in this “heart”, as my guide confessed, that she feels much more comfortable than at a cardiologist's appointment. There comes an inexplicable pacification, the heart rate is normalized, and the pressure that gave off a headache in the morning disappears somewhere. Bushes and trees close to the boulder are hung with hundreds of rags, plastic bags and anything that can be tied to branches. These are signs of either gratitude to the power of the stone, or pagan marks about their acquaintance with the miracle of nature.

The boulder, three meters long and two meters high, was perfectly spread to the very sole. And not some kind of slate to crack along a crack, but granite rock. Only at the very bottom (this is noticeable in the picture) did a spall occur, as happens when one heavy mass moves away from its half. There is another cut, but a much smaller part of the stone. Only its conditional cut is rougher than the first.

Looking for an answer, I went to the museum of the sanatorium. But even here, in a series of glorious accomplishments, not a word about the stone neighbor. Only the head of the club, Nadezhda Petrovna Koltsova, told the legend. Purely sanatorium. Two vacationers opened their feelings to each other. But there, outside the gates of the health resort, families were waiting for them, to which they had to return. On the last day, we climbed a boulder and sobbed so synchronously that the stone under them parted.

The legend seemed dull to me, and I offered a replacement. It contained an evil khan, his moon-faced daughter Aigul, a handsome shepherd. They fell in love with each other and fled. Khan follows them. Just about to grab it. The young people embraced so tightly that their hearts merged and turned to stone. The khan's conscience pierced, he climbed onto the still hot stone and began to cry. The result is the same.

Vladimir Popov, a geophysicist with 35 years of experience, an excellent student in the exploration of the subsoil of the Russian Federation, was not impressed by any of the legends. He looked closely at the picture and was puzzled.

- This is the first time I've seen this. The impression is that they have gone through a diamond wire saw or a diamond large disc - Stolyarov's stone-cutting machine. If the sun and water worked, the cut would be winding. And the rock is not shale, but granite or granodiorite. Such an ideal surface, taking into account natural phenomena, can only form after a perfect lightning strike. In any case, I have not heard of anything like it. I can not say anything about the healing properties of the stone: not a specialist.

There is such a mystery in the vicinity of the Kisegach sanatorium. Maybe someone has already figured it out. We will be glad to hear.
