In Kharkov (Ukraine) the chain of strange events connected with the desire of people to say goodbye to life does not end. People are hanged en masse, throwing themselves under trains and from the windows of high floors.

So, on Amosov Street, a 40-year-old woman jumped out of the window of her own apartment on the 9th floor. As the police found out, during her lifetime she was a very vulnerable and mentally vulnerable person. What pushed the Kharkiv woman to a terrible act is being investigated by law enforcement officers.

At KhTZ, a young man jumped out of the window of a polyclinic, at Novye Domi a pensioner hanged herself on the door handle, and on Heroes of Labor Street a blind old woman "came out" from the window of her own apartment.

In the last few days alone, about a dozen Kharkiv residents have committed suicide for various reasons. Several more potential suicides miraculously survived - someone was dissuaded from the last step by the cops, another man was saved by the instant reaction of the subway driver.

On Selyanskaya Street, a 24-year-old girl jumped from a seventh-floor window. And in the Industrial District, in front of passers-by, a whole love tragedy unfolded. An emergency happened in one of the high-rise buildings on Ivan Karkach Boulevard.

According to eyewitnesses, a 30-year-old girl was talking on the phone with her lover, sitting on the windowsill of the 5th floor. At the same time, she cried and threatened to commit suicide. And then she jumped down. The Kharkiv woman died on the spot from her injuries.

In early July, a 41-year-old man who lived in a private house on the street. Vasnetsov, rushed to the working grinder. The Kharkiv resident died of his injuries at the scene.

A strange series of suicides in Kharkov began in early summer. On June 2, two people were poisoned with medications at once in the Moscow and Industrial districts. The next day, a 59-year-old man committed suicide in the Zmievsky district. The pensioner shot himself with a homemade weapon, clamping it in a locksmith's vice. On June 4, a terrible incident took place on Moskovsky Prospekt in Kharkov. There, a woman fell from the height of the 8th floor.

In addition, on June 6, on the bridge on Poltavskiy Shlyakh Street, a 25-year-old Kharkiv resident tried first to cut his forearm, and then with a broken bottle, in the presence of the police, he intended to slash himself in the throat. The next day, having quarreled with his partner, the 26-year-old man locked himself in the bathroom and injected himself with 11 ampoules of lidocaine. The dose was fatal: the suicide had time to say goodbye to the woman and lost consciousness.

On June 9, a 28-year-old boy tried to die in a terrible way. To commit suicide, he threw himself out of the 8th floor window. The wife of the deceased told law enforcement officers that he was very worried about his son, who is sick with diabetes, felt his helplessness. Perhaps this prompted the man to commit suicide.

As the experts said, most often people are pushed to a desperate step by the seasonal exacerbation of the psycho-emotional background. Also, the reason can be a lot of negative news that is published in the media.

“People do not lay hands on themselves because of a good life. Suicide serves as a way out of difficulties, a crisis or an intolerable situation. This path is perceived as the only available answer to the most difficult task. In developed countries, people turn to a psychologist with problems, but in our country it is not accepted to go to a psychologist, although, according to statistics, every tenth Ukrainian needs such support, said psychologist Iryna Shevchenko.

Astrologers associate the wave of suicides with celestial metamorphoses and the full moon.

“The phases of the moon quite strongly affect the psyche of people. Moreover, this time the full moon, which will come on July 9, takes place with very strong and tense aspects to the planets carrying a destructive force. Negative situations will often be associated with the home and generic programs, there will be a distortion of reality, and demonic energies will have a large scale,”experts say.
