The wealthy elite are preparing to leave the planet ahead of an imminent apocalyptic event that will make our planet completely uninhabitable. This shocking conclusion was made by Professor Douglas Rushkoff, a well-known futurologist, who was invited for consultations by the owners of the world's largest investment companies, who were not named by him for obvious reasons. Here's what Professor Rushkoff says:
“Last year I was invited to an unthinkable super-resort beyond the reach of even the mainstream elite, where I was to give a special talk to a hundred or so investment bankers. Understanding where I was being invited, I did not feel much eagerness to go, but I was offered such a fee that a simple professor like me earns in a year.

To my bewildered question why he did this, my interlocutor told me that he had just finished the construction of a huge bunker complex in one of these places, but according to new information he is planning to build a second one. However, seeing that I was absolutely not guided by the topic, he asked me a question, to which I was invited to answer. The question sounded like this:
- How can I maintain authority over my security forces after some hypothetical global apocalyptic event?
I was very surprised and asked to clarify, to which they told me that the Apocalypse is, in this case, a euphemism, by which I can personally understand for myself an ecological catastrophe, an epidemic that is killing the world, a nuclear war, or even Mr. Robot from the movie that everyone has takes away everything.

There was not another word about the Apocalypse, and for more than an hour we talked about the most painful topic of my interlocutors. One of them formulated his interest above. That is, the world has collapsed, there is no one else outside the bunker and the money that the owner of the bunker paid to the guards becomes useless. How do you keep the guards under control so that they, in turn, control outside guests or slaves?
And we considered different options. For example, my interlocutors planned combination locks for food, which made me laugh, since codes, like everything else, are easy to take away from the owner of the bunker. The second option was "disciplinary collars" with a detonator, which each guard would have to wear when entering the bunker in exchange for the possibility of survival. There was a variant about "smart drugs", about chips-implants, although the most sensible idea was to use them to guard robots, so I was bombarded for a long time with questions about the real state of affairs in this industry. That is, is Google really creating artificial intelligence, how is Elon Musk doing, and so on.
Along the way, I was asked questions about Mars - how far it will be real to fly there, how quickly Elon Musk will be able to create a rocket, if you give him everything. There were many questions, but what struck me the most.
First of all, I was struck by the fact that while people like me, futurists, other humanist botanists and science fiction writers argue on the topic "Should robots have rights?", The financial elite of the world treats living people like robots.
The second conclusion was generally shocking. My interlocutors were not just rich young boys who, when everything starts, want to get away. My interlocutors were very, very rich and influential people. And for all their wealth and power, they do not believe that they can influence the situation. They simply accept the darkest of all scenarios and then invest whatever money they can in technology they can use to insulate themselves from a dying world, seriously considering buying a space in an orbiting space station or in a spaceship to Mars.

Mr. Rushkoff is a good man and not very stupid, observant, makes interesting conclusions. However, as he himself noted, he is definitely not in the subject on some issues, so he will also have to help with some conclusions.
With whom he talked there one-on-one, Professor Rushkoff, for obvious reasons, is silent, however, apparently, the people with him at the table were serious. And these serious people, it turns out, do not know how things are with Google AI! To clarify, they have to invite some professor to educate them. This begs the question: Who is behind Google? It seems that this global corporation is being promoted by some forces that are not accountable to either the Rothschitlds or the Rockefellers.
The second very interesting point is the question about New Zealand and Alaska. Judging by this issue, even the super-rich do not understand what is happening, what, where and how in the case of BP will be. The question is open.
Finally, the most important thing is, as Professor Rushkoff correctly noted, a strong desire of the super-elite in the case of BP to immediately get on skis and a complete lack of motivation to save something. Professor Rushkoff believes that this is just such super-cynicism among the super-elites. But what does cynicism have to do with it?
