Even zoologists cannot yet determine what kind of species it is

- I just went fishing on one ditch, it was still the summer. The groove is small, near the railway it is located - it goes into the forest, - says a resident of the city of Malorita, Brest region, Maxim. - Well, I decided to catch fry for live bait, but pulled out these incomprehensible fish. Blue ones, the size of a mobile phone and a big eye. The first time I saw such a fish.

The next day, the guy came there with his father. They caught those strange fish again. We took some photos and forgot about this incident. They remembered about the fish when we met our friend, an employee of the Vygonoshchanskoye reserve, Alexander Ivanov.

- Although I am engaged in zoology, I have seen this for the first time, - says the specialist. - Whether it is a tadpole, or some other incomprehensible fish, is unknown. Moreover, near the groove there is no factory or plant to talk about mutation.

Alexander Ivanov gave the photo to scientists, but so far he has not received an answer what kind of animal it is.

It could be an exotic fish

Promotional video:

- At the moment, we cannot say exactly what kind of species it is. The animal is very similar to a tadpole. Or maybe it's some kind of exotic fish. After all, there have already been cases in Belarus when piranhas were found, - zoologist Alexander Vinchevsky comments on the situation. - The fact that this is some kind of new species is unlikely. Most often, new species are now found among birds and insects. And amphibians, since they are inactive, then, in principle, all have been studied. As for the mutation, then this factor also cannot be excluded. But so far we have not received reliable information from colleagues.
