The karma of a person is usually represented by the concept of justice and retribution, as if there are some exalted beings, or the supreme personality - the Creator, who repays everyone for his actions. In a certain range of perception, this is true. However, at a deep level, everything that we do, think and feel, everything that we desire for ourselves and for "others", we do all this to ourselves. You can call this the principle of "supreme justice". In essence, our karma is what we ourselves have done to ourselves.

Each act is realized only because there is a thought about it, each phenomenon is a phenomenon that occurs in our own consciousness. Each thought colors reality, to say the least - creates the very familiar reality that we feel in everyday life. This is how our karma works.

When there is no thought, reality in the usual sense does not exist. Or in other words, we can say that in this case there is something beyond description and any statements about life. This is the highest free consciousness. But as long as we are subject to the laws of karma, we can talk about different levels of reality. These levels are the necessary individual experience of a particular soul.

When the soul is "separated" from the source, it "unites" with the intelligent principle of the material universe. The word materiality in this case means any substance, energy, or form accessible to perception and discrimination. Reasonable beginning is the principle of discrimination and "choice" of anything. We distinguish one from the other and choose something because of the presence of reason. Any conscious action, any choice, creates karma.

However, as long as these illusions are accepted as reality, we are subject to the laws of karma. As long as we participate, create, choose, we are subject to causation. Our consciousness observes how the mind creates countless games, which, out of forgetfulness, itself takes seriously.

Subtle bodies, in which the seeds of karma, of the subtlest thought forms are laid, are "attached" to the rational principle. We can say that these seeds were not picked by chance, but in strict accordance with the general idea of the ongoing creation. Thus, human reflections on who is to blame are meaningless. In the end, there are no “guilty ones”. The force that plants the primary seeds of karma itself acts by virtue of spontaneous programs that did not have a beginning in the ongoing eternity. In the end, the feeling of guilt is also just one of those programs that were put into a person for processing (gaining experience), due to which human consciousness matures. In this sense, karma is a necessary experience for the maturation of the soul.

The experience of loneliness, doom, loss, the concept of a material, random, or chaotic universe - all this and much more, as well, are just karmic programs of the current level of education. The more of these programs and the more complex they are (heavy karma), the more strength and experience can be derived from them. The harder the karma, the more valuable experience it gives to work.

From the beginning of “creation” until the moment of realization, the reality that an individual soul experiences consists of the germinated primary seeds of karma. All that a person feels is the work and interaction of these "sprouts". Often, instead of interaction, friction and opposition arise, then new, more subtle balancing aspects of karma are gradually developed. This is evolution and development.

In adult souls, all processes are balanced - friction and opposition in their reality does not arise, but at the same time there is no stagnation - growth occurs as something natural, without resistance. At a certain stage, the sprouts themselves become thinner and bloom into thousands of even more subtle and complex elements. All this is done so that the discriminating ability of the mind has a rich spectrum of play, interaction and development.

At one of the stages of growth, the ego is formed - a mental sense of self, a set of many branches of germinated primary seeds of karma interacting with each other. The ego at different levels consists of those branches of karma that most often found themselves in the field of consciousness of the soul. Other “branches” of karma, not lightened by consciousness, are felt as “the surrounding world” and various “events” in the past, present and future. We create the illusion of a separate reality with our own karma. When all spectra of consciousness are illuminated, then the ego is felt in a single indivisible stream, as an element that can be separated exclusively conditionally. Constant identification with the ego and focus on it is no longer there.

Everything that a person desires for others, be it bad or good, he does with himself. Another thing is that the sprouts of these seeds may not show themselves immediately, but after a long time. This is the basis of the law of karma as a causal relationship. Everything that a person thinks about the qualities of the world around him is just the properties of those thoughts that he is thinking at this time. Or otherwise, these are the properties and qualities of the energy that a person allows to pass through his consciousness. This is a microcosm within oneself. Thought does not go beyond itself. Karma is that which is experienced by an individual subject. There is no world outside of karma that it projects.

Karma is a projection through which we look at the world and feel it in the colors with which karma paints it. When people have similar seeds of karma, they may experience the same situation in a similar way. But most often the similarity of views on the world is illusory, it only seems to us that a person feels the same way, because we project our experiences onto his words.

The mind, as the subtlest instrument that distinguishes thoughts, depending on its own experience, relatively successfully from the general mental chaos of germinated sprouts of karma, “selects” those thoughts that best “correspond” to the current state of affairs. How can these "affairs" be? What kind of processes are taking place against the background of the consciousness of the soul? Everything that a person feels is the action of his own karma, the primordial seeds embedded in the causal body.

That bad that we think and do happens within ourselves and for ourselves. You can call it a person's personal karma, or in this context - "the principle of the highest justice." Over time, when the soul gains wisdom, it follows the path of the saints in order to obtain holiness accordingly. There is a realization that all processes, all reality, everything that happens is a single process, an integral, indivisible "I".

When it seems to you, for example, that a person is doing unfairly to you in order to get rid of this illusion, you can consider the experience in its true light - not as an event, but as your own experience. It is not for nothing that in psychology the topic of personal responsibility is one of the central ones. You can always make yourself a victim of circumstances. And only by accepting responsibility for your actions and feelings, you can change something in the desired direction.

The feeling of injustice is one of the knots of karma that prevents the free flow of energy in the subtle energy channels. These are our own thoughts, outside of which this injustice does not exist. The most difficult experiences are overcoming the most difficult knots of karma in the subtle body, when the energy dissolves them. There is only one way to correct injustice - to realize it in its true light. That is why it happens, sometimes repeating itself many times, until it is recognized as the energy of consciousness, and not an "event" of the external world.

When the time comes to think and act, the adult soul thinks and does good. This is a choice of her mind, based on essential experience. Her mind realized good and bad, as two poles of a whole, and learned to "work out" a connecting, balancing link between these polarities. In this vein, life resembles something like a continuous spontaneous finding of balance in every phenomenon. It is like the elusive ease during the pause between inhalation and exhalation, relief after a long illness, or, in another aspect, discarding old heavy toys in favor of the freedom of a mature soul.
