One of the eternal and, perhaps, the most interesting questions that worries mankind (after all, we are all worried about our mortality and the future of the world, right?) Sounds like this: what will happen to the world if all people disappear overnight? If the Earth has enough time - some giant asteroid will not fall, which will split it in half, for example - then it will be able to "start" the so-called "reset" phase and erase any traces of our stay. However, the guys from the Mind Warehouse YouTube channel have a more detailed answer to this question.
Here are some of the events that will await the Earth after our complete disappearance (you can watch the rest in the video below, if, of course, you have at least basic knowledge of the English language):
“A few hours after the disappearance of all people, most of the lights around the world will go out, as most power plants will not be able to work properly. However, hydroelectric plants will continue to operate;
- Ten days after the disappearance of all mankind, domestic and farm animals will die. Animals such as dogs and wolves, united in small flocks, will begin to hunt everything that moves and eat other animals;
- A month later, the water cooling the reactors of nuclear power plants will evaporate, which will cause the events of Chernobyl on a global scale;
- A year later, all our satellites will fall;
- Twenty-five years later, many cities will be overgrown with various plants, while others will be buried under billions of tons of sand;
- Three thousand years after the disappearance of mankind, all metal buildings, bridges and towers will begin to break in half due to corrosion;
