A driver from Thailand claims to have survived a horrific car accident thanks to a magical amulet he wore around his neck.

On May 3, 2017, Sayan Hyoyayi was driving to Phuket for his adopted son's wedding when his SUV caught the rear of a tractor trailer, causing the car to turn around and crash into a tilted tree.

Worried family members, not waiting for their father at the wedding, went in search and found a crashed car to smithereens, but the victim was not in it.

Finally, Hyoyai's brother found him sitting in a field in a meditation posture 200 meters from the crash site. He was very surprised when he approached Sayan and found that he was alive and well.

The meditator excused himself and said, "I am very sorry that I did not come to the wedding, I died in an accident." The brother was confused by this answer, immediately grabbed Hyoyaya's hand and began to shake it to prove that he was still alive.

The police and rescuers who arrived at the scene were amazed that a person had survived such an accident and called the incident "completely incredible."

As for why Hyoyayi thought he was dead, it turns out he had a powerful out-of-body experience. After colliding with a tree, he felt himself floating above the roof of a car and realized that the worst had already happened. He does not remember how he got out of the rubble and began to meditate.

The incredibly lucky driver believes he survived the crash thanks to an amulet depicting the revered monk Pho Chem Hlai, which he bought at the temple 26 years ago.
