If you believe the Western media, this year humanity may meet with its creators - the inhabitants of the mysterious planet Nibiru. According to Sumerian mythology, the beings inhabiting this cosmic body once created humans. They needed them as a labor force for the extraction of minerals on planet Earth. What will the current meeting with the mysterious Nibiru turn out to be for humanity? The famous writer David Mead spoke about this in his book "Planet X: Coming-2017".
NASA IS NOT IN THE COURSE
As often happens, the author of the book, promising the beginning of a terrible apocalypse this summer, positions himself as a scientist and a prophet at the same time. According to David Mead, a cosmic body, known in world mythology as the planet Nibiru, is rapidly rushing to Earth. Its approach will slow down the rotation of the Earth, cause colossal tides that develop into a new global flood, provoke massive volcanic eruptions, a change in magnetic poles and other "delights". At the same time, not a single scientific fact confirming the impending disaster is given in the book. From the text of Planet X: Coming-2017, one can only understand that its author considers frequent earthquakes, sinkholes in the soil, large volcanic eruptions and other anomalies that have really become more frequent lately as a harbinger of catastrophe.
However, despite the unsubstantiated claims of David Mead, his work made so much noise that it made the population of the developed Western countries nervous. As a result, NASA was forced to comment on the possible arrival of Nibiru. The US space department said that the world's population has absolutely nothing to fear. As for the terrible Nibiru, then, in their opinion, it does not exist at all.

The arrival of Nibiru in recent years has been predicted more than once. She was already expected - first in 2003, and then in 2012. All right. But they talked a lot about her. At the same time, only a few astronomy lovers still know the history of the mysterious planet X.

It is still not known for certain whether Nibiru actually exists or not. It is believed that it was once one of the planets of the solar system, but subsequently radically changed its orbit. Since then, once every 3600 years, it seems to pass between Mars and Jupiter at a relatively short distance from Earth. Considering that the mass of the planet, its size and gravitational field are several times larger than that of the Earth, each appearance of Nibiru near the Earth causes severe natural disasters. Presumably, the center of rotation of this mysterious planet is the "extinct star", the twin of the Sun.
All knowledge of both Nibiru itself and its inhabitants, mankind has drawn from the mythology of the Sumerians - one of the most ancient civilizations of the Earth, once inhabiting the fertile valleys of the Tigris and Euphrates. The representatives of this civilization were convinced that the meaning of their life was to serve the higher powers. The Sumerians seriously believed that the human race was created by the Anunnaki - the inhabitants of Nibiru by crossing the Anunnaki proper and great apes. Through genetic experiments, the inhabitants of Nibiru obtained biorobots suitable for mining a mineral - gold. The most interesting thing is that in Mesopotamia, mines were indeed discovered, in which this precious metal was massively mined in ancient times.

Thanks to the Sumerian cuneiform tables, mankind learned about the alleged fate of the Earth and the original structure of the solar system. According to ancient sources, once a big explosion occurred in space, which pushed Nibiru out of the Osiris star system. Wandering through outer space, the giant planet was attracted by the Sun, but unsuccessfully. Once in the solar planetary system, one of the moons of Nibiru collided with the large planet Tiamat, breaking it into two parts. One of them later became the Earth, and the second, scattered into many fragments, became the asteroid belt. The second satellite crashed into Mars at high speed, thus putting an end to the developed civilization that lived there. Since then, Nibiru periodically visits the solar system, each time bringing with it terrible destruction. At least,this is what the Sumerian sources say in the interpretation of the famous researcher of ancient civilizations, specialist in paleocontact Zecharia Sitchin. At the same time, official science has its own point of view on this score, which is different from the Sumerian one.
DO NOT REJECT
Astrophysicists completely deny the existence of Nibiru, considering it a fiction of the interpreters of ancient texts. And ufologists, in turn, are looking forward to the appearance of planet X in the solar system in the very near future. According to the calculations of specialists in Sumerian mythology, Nibiru will be in close proximity to the Earth in the summer of 2017. But in this case, astronomers should have seen planet X through telescopes long ago and started sounding the alarm!
Fortunately, this did not happen. Nevertheless, the scientists still made sure. In 2010, NASA sent a special probe to the asteroid belt so as not to miss the appearance of Nibiru. In parallel, studies of asteroids were carried out for the presence of organic life. Oddly enough, but traces of organic molecules have indeed been found on space lifeless boulders. Such a find can only speak of one thing: Tiamat once really existed, and the cosmic body that destroyed it visited the solar system at least once. It is possible that he will visit again.
It is certainly premature to wait for Nibiru this summer. However, one should not renounce its possible appearance on the earthly horizon either.

And now here is Planet X: Coming 2017, in which David Mead plays the prophet at all, promising the Apocalypse to humanity in the summer of 2017. But can you trust him? Who is David Mead? It is known that he studied astronomy and economics at the University of Louisville, and then worked for several years in forensic research. Of course, he knows a lot about things, but he does not have an academic degree, and, apparently, is not a scientist at all.
Most likely, David Mead, like many researchers of the paranormal, is simply an enthusiast in his field. However, it is worth remembering that such people are often delusional and even fanatic. Therefore, it is worth turning a blind eye to his prophecies. Well, or at least remember how missed all those who predicted the Apocalypse in 2012, referring to the Mayan calendar.
ASTEROID HAZARD
NASA astronomers are more intimidating than other prophetic writers. They recently made a prediction that the Earth will undergo intense "bombardment" from space. Between 2017 and 2113, we can expect up to 400 collisions with various space objects.
The fact is that a previously unknown asteroid belt was discovered in deep space, which is currently racing towards our part of the solar system. So, an asteroid the size of a bus, named 2014 EC and discovered in March this year, passed only 61.6 km from Earth. This time it blew. What's next?
Professor Bill Napier, a specialist in astronomy at Buckingham University, is confident that an asteroid impact would have devastating consequences for human civilization: “If something like this happened, the chemistry of our atmosphere would change due to the screening of sunlight by dust, and this state could continue for tens of thousands of years”.
