American astronaut-researcher NASA Leroy Chiao, who spent more than six months on the International Space Station, spoke about an unusual incident while in orbit. He noticed a UFO during one of the spacewalks.

When they, together with their partner - Russian Serizhan Sharipov - installed navigation antennas, a strange object fell into Chiao's field of view. “I saw several lights, it looked like an inverted check mark,” the Huffington Post quoted him as saying. However, Sharipov did not see an incomprehensible object.

“I am skeptical that aliens allegedly often visited our planet, but I do not rule out this 100%. My mind is open and I believe there is intelligent life somewhere in the universe,”added Chiao.

Several years ago, another American astronaut told about a meeting with a UFO. Member of the first expedition to the moon, Edwin Aldrin, said that during the flight of Apollo 11, astronauts clearly saw a certain flying object that accompanied their ship. The crew reported a meeting with a UFO on Earth, but the NASA leadership allegedly decided not to make this information public.

However, not only Americans noticed strange objects. “I will never forget one strange object that we observed. It was small. When I saw him, I called my colleague Viktor Savinykh (he was making his first flight into space, then as a flight engineer), who managed to capture him through the eyepiece of a video camera.

But when Savinykh got ready to shoot, the object exploded, leaving only a cloud of smoke. It split into two pieces connected together. It looked like dumbbells. We immediately contacted Mission Control and reported our sightings. We do not know what happened that day, but most definitely this object was not a figment of my imagination,”said Russian cosmonaut Vladimir Kovalenok.
