Rimma Farmanyan, a researcher at the Butinsky Museum (Nerchinsk, Trans-Baikal Territory), told the reporter that a ghost lives in the museum, which many have heard many times. The woman herself even asked for a shift instead of a watchman, to personally verify this.
- At night during the shift, I heard someone's steps. I thought it was a restorer and calmed down. But then she remembered that she herself closed the door behind her when she left. And I got scared. And the footsteps sounded and sounded … And then I feel such warmth from behind - I turn around to nobody … - said Farmanian.
The portal's correspondent asked about the existence of ghosts in the palace to Alexander Litvintsev, deputy director for scientific and methodological work of the Nerchinsk Museum of Local Lore, who confirmed this fact. Moreover, he said that he himself witnessed his presence.

- It really is, a ghost lives in the Butinsky Palace. Floorboards creak, doors slam, footsteps are heard, sometimes sighs are heard. All this happens, yes. Moreover, these phenomena have been noticed repeatedly. And when I had to spend the night in the palace, I had to hear all this, - said Litvintsev.
He added that everyone who comes to work is warned of the presence of the supernatural in the palace. However, people "at first do not believe, they laugh, but then they themselves face this on their duty."
“But a ghost or a ghost itself is completely harmless. Who it is - he or she, we do not know exactly. Nothing falls in the palace, nothing disappears - the ghost "lives" its "life". There was even a case when he was seen with his own eyes, it happened in the 80s, when there was a library in the building, - said Litvintsev.
