According to researchers-"anomalies", in the last one and a half to two decades in most cemeteries in our country has increased the number of unexplained phenomena, which are noted with frightening regularity by numerous eyewitnesses. This happens especially often on old and abandoned churchyards.
Owner of the churchyard
Close to train station Ashino. that in the Tomsk region. there is a forgotten, long-unvisited churchyard, the last burials of which date back to the 50s of the last century. The inhabitants of the nearby village were buried there for over 100 years. But during the campaign of N. S. Khrushchev on the enlargement of collective and state farms, the village became depopulated, there was no one to bury.
In the 80s of the XX century, a suburban area grew in front of the cemetery. From the very first days of the existence of gardening, its inhabitants began to see a ghost, which they quickly dubbed the Master of the graveyard. The grayish figure of a bent old man, silently floating past torn tombstones and rotted crosses, summer residents often observed in the twilight dawn and evening hours. People became so accustomed to the Master of the churchyard that they did not pay special attention to him, sometimes going about their business through the overgrown cemetery. However, the harmless ghost unexpectedly showed its formidable temper in the late 1990s. Then one of the wealthy businessmen built a spacious mansion on the outskirts of gardening, taking a large piece of land from an abandoned cemetery for his plot.
Strange events in the dacha village
From that time on, something strange began to happen in the dacha village: objects were spontaneously moving, someone invisible walked through attics and roofs, creaking floorboards. Garden plots bred an unprecedented number of mice and rats, destroying crops, and ants besieged houses. The figure of the Master of the churchyard, which had never left the cemetery before, began to regularly visit the gardeners.

And one evening, a solid house of a businessman caught fire. The fire engulfed the building so quickly that its owner and his young wife barely managed to run out of the blazing mansion …
Later, the fire-victim claimed that he saw with his own eyes, when all of a sudden, by themselves, expensive curtains on the windows flashed, after which the flames began to spread along the walls. However, the fire-technical expertise issued a conclusion that the fire was due to a faulty electrical wiring. The businessman did not begin to restore the mansion that burned down to ashes, the charred ruins of which spoiled the country landscape for many years. But since then, the Owner of the churchyard never again bothered the gardeners with his appearance.
Houses on bones
In Kazan, on the place where Saban Street now runs, there was once an old Muslim cemetery. Then for many years there was a dump, and then a wasteland, which the superstitious inhabitants bypassed. But then the XXI century came, and the territory of the abandoned churchyard was built up with multi-storey buildings. The tenants who settled in the skyscrapers soon witnessed inexplicable things. So, at night, from their windows, they saw strange lights, as if dancing on playgrounds and in deserted public gardens, during which “dancing” pets showed inexplicable anxiety. And soon, among the residents of the quarter, a rumor spread about a Woman in white, whose milky silhouette at times appeared in front of the windows of the apartments and knocked on the glass. One day, a meeting with this ghost took place at Elvira Sabirova, who lived on the eighth floor of one of the houses. According to the woman,one evening, while in the kitchen, she saw with peripheral vision something white flashed between the curtains. Pulling back the curtain. Elvira was horrified to see a white female figure hovering in the air in front of her window. The landlady, not knowing why, suddenly shook her finger at the ghost, and in the next instant he disappeared …
A few months later, Elvira found out that her elderly neighbor on the staircase tried to commit suicide after the Woman in White knocked on the windows of her apartment for several days, and once even flew into the room through the open window. Later it turned out that shortly before this, the old woman, having dug up the earth in the courtyard, brought it home and scattered it in the boxes for future seedlings. But this soil turned out to be a cemetery, which, apparently, the woman in white persistently reminded the owner of the apartment.
Restless pagans
The places where pagans were once buried have always been characterized by increased anomalous activity. There are such cemeteries in Karelia, Udmurtia, Mordovia, in many Siberian regions and in Kamchatka. In particular, in the Republic of Tyva, not far from the village of Yrban, there is a Dukhov Hill, in which local residents found their quarters until the middle of the last century. After a severe fire that happened in 1957, the pagan cemetery burned out, and decades later, a dense birch forest grew over the old family graves, which the local population bypasses. According to legend, the souls of ancestors who have lost their refuge and escaped from the underworld live in the birch forest.
In the summer of 2000, Anatoly Barinov from Krasnoyarsk happened to stay in this birch forest for the night as part of a tourist group. As Anatoly said, it was hardly evening. how all sorts of devilry began to happen in the tourist camp. It began with the fire extinguishing by itself. Immediately after this, the space around the small clearing was filled with strange sounds: footsteps, sighs, stifled wheezing. Frightened people sitting in tents felt an invisible presence next to them, some of them later recalled that they even felt the touch of invisible cold fingers.
Without a wink of a wink for the whole night, the travelers with the first rays of the sun in a hurry left the "bad" birch forest …
The places of the last resting place of the deceased at all times evoked a special attitude towards themselves, connected with the religious outlook of people. Nowadays, cemeteries continue to keep many mystical secrets and mysteries, the main of which is the great secret of death.
