Mushroom pickers and tourists of the Krasnodar Territory have recently begun to meet in the forests just giant raincoat mushrooms. The information has been leaked to the media and is shocking local scientists. What is happening in the local forests?
According to Andrei Surgutskov, a resident of Krasnodar, there are especially many such giant raincoat mushrooms in the Novoselovsky district, where he goes to collect them annually (see photo). Local residents, says a lover of "quiet hunting", for some reason do not like raincoats, they kick and trample them. At the same time, a raincoat is a delicious and healthy mushroom. You only need to choose relatively young "heads" that are completely white, like marshmallows.
Raincoats grow, as a rule, in open pastures and in rare birch forests, so it is convenient to collect them even for a car enthusiast. Andrei Surgutskov comes to the Novoselovsky district for raincoats regularly, and is never left without a decent "catch".
As a confirmation of Andrey's story, the other day in the media there was information that another resident of Krasnodar, Sergey Babayan, found a record-holder mushroom, which, of course, was a raincoat.
But Sergei was struck not even by this, but by the fact that the giant mushroom did not allow himself to be photographed on a smartphone for two days: only black squares remained in the pictures. The resident of Krasnodar recalled that when he was taking this unusual mushroom home, he remarked with surprise: the speedola did not work well in the car - it constantly caught radio interference.
Sergey Babayan concluded from this that the amazing mushroom absorbed the energy of the quarry where it grew up. Previously, a man found fragments of a meteorite here, perhaps all this somehow influenced the formation of the raincoat? However, Babayan read on the Internet that raincoats absorb charges of copper and lead, which is why, apparently, they interfere with receivers and cameras.
Scientists of the Department of Biological Faculty of the Kuban State University only laughed at such information. True, the size of the mushroom found by Krasnodar is actually impressive, so they advised Sergey to turn to the Guinness Book of Records. It just remains a mystery: why did this fantastic mushroom not allow itself to be photographed for two days?..
