The burial ground, which, according to preliminary estimates, is about a thousand years old, contained the remains of 25 people with highly elongated skulls. The find has already received the name "Mexican Aliens" by analogy with the structure of the head of one of the predatory races of the film by Ridley Scott.
Eight of the buried creatures were adults, the rest were no more than sixteen years old. One of the skeletons is female. All bodies are adorned with various pendants, earrings and rings; some of them had turtle shells on their bellies. Scientists have not yet figured out to which social group the burial can be attributed. But they believe that it was attempts to deform the skull that could lead to death at a young age: after all, the head was subjected to severe compression. Also, many skeletons had damaged teeth.
Deformation of the skull in Mesoamerican culture, apparently, was used to distinguish members of one social group from another and for ritual purposes.
As for the damage to the teeth, according to the theory, they were done during the life of the deceased, when they were still adolescents. Dental damage was seen as a rite of passage during adolescence.
The archaeologist said that such burial grounds had not been found before, not attention, only in Mexico, but also in the southwestern United States. According to Moreno, according to historical sources, the place where the burial was found must have belonged to the Pimas Indians.

Why did people and groups of people not related to each other, separated by oceans, continents, produce a similar deformation of the skull? Perhaps they saw an object for imitation, some "Gods", higher beings with an elongated skull shape.

One of the tombs was found near the village of Kendelen, where the river washed away the bank and exposed the remains of a man with an egg-shaped skull. The second is in the village of Deyskoye. A local resident was digging a hole in the garden and came across a skeleton in a seated position of the pharaoh - the length of his skull was almost twice as long as usual. There have already been such finds in the North Caucasus. Back in 1886, near Elbrus, archaeologists discovered four elongated skulls.
According to scientists, the Nakhodka can speak of a connection between Kabardino-Balkaria and ancient Egypt.
