Probably not even a year without foreshadowing a terrible death for humanity. It seems that clairvoyants have already sorted out all the options for apocalypses, now you don't know where they will come from or where they will explode. The Wikipedia encyclopedia contains an extensive list of doomsday predictions. In total, there are 173 promised apocalypses. Let's consider some of them.

So far, no parades of planets, falling meteorites or attacks by aliens have destroyed humanity. We offer an overview of the predictions that scared people, but did not happen, and what we should fear in the future.

In 1806, a chicken appeared in the English city of Leeds, which laid unusual eggs with inscriptions promising the imminent end of the world. The owner of the chicken soon began to flaunt the bird to the public, and before the eyes of eyewitnesses, she carried a new egg with a new ominous message. The news spread so quickly that within a few days hysteria about the near end of the world covered almost all of England. However, when the timing of the predictions dragged on, the hostess admitted that she herself wrote the inscriptions on the eggs, and then put them back into the chicken. What happened next to the mistress, history is silent.

In 1910, the entire population was seized by a real panic. The fact is that on May 18 of that year, the Earth's orbit passed through the tail of Halley's comet, which immediately caused a stir. Rumors spread that the comet has poisoned the atmosphere with poisonous gases and that humanity is now short-lived. At that time, the USA even produced special pills called “Comet”, which promised healing. Of course, the pills were fake, and the end of the world never happened. But the impressions remained.

In 1919, people began to prepare for the end of the world in anticipation of the parade of the planets. On December 17, 1919, 6 planets of the solar system lined up, and the American meteorologist Albert Port immediately predicted that the Sun would explode and the Earth would suffer from the explosion. When the tragedy did not happen, he went out and publicly apologized. The parade of planets is an astronomical phenomenon in which a number of planets in the solar system are on one side of the sun in a small sector. Moreover, they are more or less close to each other on the celestial sphere. Astrophysicists know that the parade of planets is a natural phenomenon. It is due to the fact that all the planets of the solar system move at their own speed and along their trajectory, and it is quite logical that sometimes they will intersect in the same plane. All mystical and fatal events in the history of mankind, that happened in the same year as the planetary parade is nothing more than a coincidence.

In 1962, the Planet Parade was also observed. Again there were prophets who predicted that the parade would entail the end of the world. Coincidentally, the Cuban Missile Crisis began this year.

In August 2010, Earth, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars were in the Planet Parade. It was expected that this should have the strongest impact on the Earth. Again they predicted the end of the world, but everything was limited to only magnetic storms of average strength.

Then the legend spread that in December 2012 the largest Parade of planets in the history of mankind was to take place: absolutely all the planets had to line up in one line, which threatened humanity with complete destruction. We survived and survived.

Advertising specialist Herbert Armstrong founded his "World Church", and in 1936 he prophesied with might and main an apocalypse that did not come. Then Herbert was not taken aback and pushed it aside until 1943, and when this did not work, he moved it to 1972. But it so happened that Herbert was in good health, and in 1972 he again went on stage to announce the last date - 1975. Interestingly, even then there were hundreds of people who still believed him.

In 1996, the American clairvoyant Sheldon Needle gathered hundreds of people in front of the TV and promised that on December 17 all earthlings would be incinerated by angels and aliens (yes, at the same time). Why such a combination, Sheldon did not explain.

In 1998, the Spiritual Creation Movement group armed themselves with textbooks on astronomy and convinced people that the Alpha Centauri star would explode in September-October. But it will not just explode, but will release a stream of deadly rays, one of which will fall into the South Pole of the Earth and plunge the planet into darkness for 12 years (approximately). Armageddon did not happen, no one was hurt.

In 1999-2000, there was a lot of noise. Armageddon was special because it was predicted by Nostradamus himself. The program of the apocalypse was big: a nuclear war, an asteroid, a comet that will fall into the Atlantic Ocean, a supernova explosion and a massive solar eclipse. In addition, the predicted uprising of machines on January 1, 2000 added to the severity of the situation. The fact is that the technology of that time, at the onset of 2000, perceived it as 1900. Millions of people were waiting for the explosion of all power plants and the fall of all planes. Nothing happened. But passions did not subside - on May 5, another parade of planets took place. By tradition, everyone was waiting for a tsunami and complete destruction. Did not happen. But on September 26, it was expected that the real asteroid Tautatis would crash into the Earth. Moreover, the asteroid approached the planet so close that even scientists sounded the alarm. But the Earth and we were lucky again - the asteroid flew by.

In 2008, the Large Hadron Collider was officially launched, this event caused a lot of noise. Back then, people were worried that the launch would create a black hole that would swallow our entire planet. Hundreds of people sent petitions and organized rallies asking them to destroy the "doomsday machine." But on September 10, the collider was launched and nothing happened.

2012 should be remembered by many, it is the most memorable. The Indian calendar ended on 2012-21-12, and then a new era. There was a lot of noise on TV. The end of the world was waiting for the whole world. The scenarios were different, including a classic parade of planets, cataclysms, pole shift and a meteorite fall. Several films were shot that suggested future events. People started organizing survival courses, selling tickets for the ark, bunkers, and grocery shopping. So, in offices on December 21, a record number of applications for time off was recorded to spend the end of the world with his family. But the real panic gripped people when the "latest edition of the ancient calendar" became irrelevant. People realized that there would be no end of the world, tons of buckwheat were purchased, thousands of cans were wasted, and they still have to go to work on Monday.

But that's not all: we can survive at least 3 more promised doomsday: in 2021, according to scientists, this is the deadline for the inversion (change) of the Earth's magnetic poles. It can flood many cities and even continents.

In 2029, the asteroid Apophis will fly near the planet Earth and, as a result, change its trajectory. And already in 2036 there is a risk of facing it.

In 2060, the end of the world according to the calculations of Isaac Newton, made in 1704. Maybe we will live? If, however, "not lucky" with him, then mankind still has several options for the "outcome."

In 2098, the end of the world will occur as a result of a cosmic catastrophe according to the calculations of Elias Otis from the Revelation of John the Theologian.

In 2892, the end of the world will come according to the prediction of Abel.

And the final - in 3797 the end of the world will take place in view of the final date of the prophecies of Nostradamus in the "Letter to the son of Caesar."

Nature has not provided man with the necessary tools to determine the time of a possible natural disaster. Our “smaller brothers” are another matter. They show wonders of sensitivity to the "dark forces of nature." Animals have learned to hide in cracks and holes, fleeing tornadoes, storms and tornadoes, they take their feet in time from tsunamis, floods and earthquakes. The most common scientific hypothesis is the assumption that living things respond to subtle disturbances of natural electromagnetic or simply magnetic fields that precede an earthquake. We well know: - evolution on the planet lasted for millions of years and living beings have developed mechanisms of protection against natural disasters during these periods, and man did not have time or, most likely, lost.
