Karen Wakefield, 52, from Manchester, is confident that a ghost named Malcolm has lived in her house for 13 years. This ghost has been brawling and scaring the residents of the house for 13 years. Especially often he breaks photo frames and slams doors. Over the years, Karen has become so accustomed to the otherworldly creature in her house that she now even leaves a special Christmas card for Malcolm.
But in his pranks, the ghost of Malcolm went so far as to imitate the voice of Karen's friend Paul Dawson. One day his voice asked Karen to go downstairs to the first floor, but when Karen did it right away, there was no one downstairs and Paul's car was not there either (he had previously left in it).
Karen learned the name of the ghost from the Ouija board, or Ouija board. With the help of the blackboard, she also learned that Malcolm died in 1858 at the age of 57.

- I'm still afraid to be alone in the house, - says Karen, - But I'm getting used to his presence and almost ready to accept Malcolm as a member of my family. I even made a Christmas card for him with congratulations from all of us. And I talk to him when he starts being capricious and naughty, this is the best thing that can be done, because he loves to communicate with people. When guests come to me, he turns on the kettle for them.
From childhood, Karen felt her connection with the world of spirits, she describes that she grew up in a house, where she often heard mysterious knocks, blows and footsteps at those moments when no one else was in the house. When she grew up, she changed several houses where there was no paranormal activity. And then in 2004 she moved to this house in Manchester and immediately realized that there was something abnormal.
The house where Karen lives was built in 1930 and it couldn't be the house where Malcolm originally lived. But Karen is sure that Malcolm used to live in another building, which stood nearby and which was demolished long ago.

- Sometimes I can hear strange sounds, sometimes I come to the kitchen, and there all the drawers and cabinet doors are open, and all their contents are lying on the floor. Once someone pulled my robe, I turned around, and there was no one around. Once the door in my room slammed hard and flew off its hinges and I felt frightened, as if someone was looking at me. I immediately put the door in such a way as to close the passage.
- When I had a dog, she growled at someone and then rushed up. I was very scared and I had to call a friend and ask her to come and stay with me. At first she thought I was joking, and then she herself heard a strange clanging of dishes from another room.
After the incident with the door, the ghost calmed down, but when her friend Paul Dawson moved to Karen's house, he also acquired a paranormal experience, although before that he was a great skeptic. When he was watching the film in the evening, he suddenly saw something flickering on the screen over the image of the film, and there was also a strange whistle. Paul then told Karen that he "met her ghost friend."
In an attempt to understand what was happening, Karen invited a group of enthusiasts to her house who investigate the paranormal. They managed to capture a strange dark shadow on the stairs.
Karen has a 16-year-old daughter, Madison, but whether or not she had paranormal contact with a ghost is not written.
- I understand that all this is difficult to believe, - says Karen, - But many of my friends who do not believe in ghosts and other paranormalism, having visited my house, say that there is definitely some kind of energy.
