Vesta is an asteroid located in the belt that exists between Jupiter and Mars. Scientists, examining the images of its surface obtained with the help of the probe, found craters there, which are most likely of artificial origin.

Experts came to such conclusions on the basis that craters on Vesta have significant differences from similar objects on other cosmic bodies.

In the depressions of the craters seen on Vesta, there are circular hills, which is not at all typical for tracks left by collisions with smaller space wanderers. At the same time, the asteroid itself is literally cut through by a system of grooves of considerable length.

In addition, scientists are still amazed at the phenomenon of Vesta, which is still incomprehensible to them. This asteroid, which is very small by cosmic standards, and located far from the Earth, is very clearly visible from our planet, being a bright object.

Specialists will have to figure out what these lights are for, which, in addition to Vesta, emit a number of objects located in the same asteroid belt, plying between Jupiter and Mars.
