The Argentine branch of the Center for UFO Studies (CEUFO) received an e-mail two years ago from a photographer (Fabian Romano) claiming that when he was photographing Macachin airport, some strange creature was caught on his camera.
The photographer says he took this photo at noon with a Minolta digital camera with a 135mm lens and a shutter speed of 1/1000.
Specialists from CEUFO examined the image and announced that they did not know this flying creature. They also added that the picture is "extremely strange." They came to this conclusion only after a scrupulous check of the image.
CEUFO also sent a copy of the photo to various centers around the world for further study. The curator of the Provincial Museum (Gustavo Siegentale) also agrees that the image is "rather strange." He went even further, stating that it might be a " winged carnivorous mammal ", apparently some "unknown species."
According to CEUFO, the image was transferred to the Special Forensic Unit of the La Pampa Police Force. Using their powerful equipment, the forensic experts reported that in the photo you can see the eye sockets and beak of the creature, and it itself can reach 80cm. This figure was derived from the dimensions of the aircraft propeller in the background.
CEUFO also reported that this is not the only recorded sighting of such a creature. People used to say that strange creatures are found in the airport area. Perhaps more information will appear in the near future.
