In recent years, serious researchers of the past of our Earth have increasingly begun to wonder: did not there exist before the civilization created by modern man, another, perhaps not less, but more developed, which perished as a result of a natural catastrophe that swept the entire globe?
According to experts, this ancient civilization was created by a race of giants. Numerous megalithic structures (the methods of their construction baffle modern engineers), the remains of giants found in Europe, Asia and America, and their traces found in rocks of various, sometimes very ancient, millions of years, can serve as evidence of its existence.
City of giants
Structures that amaze modern people with their size, incompatible with human physical capabilities, can be found in many parts of the world.
The most famous, most incredible of them is the Baalbek Terrace in Lebanon, located 85 kilometers northeast of Beirut. On it once stood the grandiose temple of Jupiter.
But no matter how majestic the temple of Jupiter is, the base of the pre-Roman building on which he rested, made of incredibly huge hewn blocks, is even more impressive.
In the southwest wall of the base lie three colossal megalithic blocks called "trilithons." Each of them reaches an average length of 21 meters, a height of 5 meters and a width of 4 meters. They weigh 800 tons each!

Despite their immense size, the blocks are so neatly folded and so precisely connected to each other that it is almost impossible to put even a needle between them. No description can give any accurate idea of the tremendous impression that the sight of these giant blocks makes on the observer. Moving such blocks would require the combined efforts of 40,000 people.
Who could have built such a gigantic stone foundation, and why? This mystery has excited the imagination of man for thousands of years. The Arabs believe that Baalbek belonged to the mythical king Nimrod, who once ruled this part of Lebanon. One Arabic manuscript found at Baalbek states that Nimrod sent giants to rebuild Baalbek after the Flood.
No less interesting is another complex built by giants - the city of the gods Teotihuacan, located 50 km north-east of Mexico City. The origin of this city is associated with an unknown civilization, much more ancient than the Aztec. However, the Aztecs have preserved the ancient legend that Teotihuacan was built by giants and was designed to turn people into gods. After the departure of the giants, the city fell into desolation.
They lived before the Flood
The listed cyclopean structures, and many others scattered over the surface of the Earth, are united not only by the mighty weight, but also by the legend of the giants who built them many centuries, or even millennia ago. There is no people on our planet that would not have composed legends or epics about giants - strong, mighty, intelligent, who lived in the golden age - the kingdom of justice and harmony.
Where did these mighty giants come from and where did they disappear? Both of these questions are answered by the world's major religions.
In the Bible, in the first book of Moses' Genesis, you can read:
“At that time there were giants on earth, especially from the time when the sons of God began to enter the daughters of men, and they began to give birth to them. These are strong, long-time glorious people. And the Lord saw that man's corruption was great on earth, and that all the thoughts and thoughts of their hearts were evil at all times. The Lord repented that he had created man on earth, and grieved in His heart.
And the Lord said: I will destroy from the face of the earth the men whom I have created, from man to cattle, and creeping things and birds of the air, I will destroy all the springs of the great abyss … And it rained on the earth forty days and forty nights."
The giants are also described in another holy book - the Koran. It says that when Noah began to build the ark, the giants who lived on earth began to laugh at him: “The flood will not harm us. We're too tall. Our feet are so big that we can block rivers with them. But the flood began, and all the giants - except one - perished.
From the giants, not only legends remained, but also the ruins of structures erected from heavy stones, as if built by a child from huge multi-colored cubes. Here and there, scientists find giant bones of people who once lived on Earth.
* "Father of History" the Greek Herodotus tells about several finds of huge human skeletons. So, a blacksmith from Tegea, digging a well, discovered the remains of a giant man. His height exceeded 2.5 meters. Also, he wrote in the 5th century BC. historian, in one of the skeletons found (3.5 m tall), the inhabitants of Sparta recognized the giant hero Orestes and dragged him with them on military campaigns instead of a banner.
* The Roman historian Josephus Flavius (1st century AD) described the appearance of the giants as follows: "Their bodies were huge, and their faces were so different from ordinary human faces that it was amazing to see them, but it was scary to hear them speak."
* Pausanias (2nd century AD) honestly testifies that at the bottom of the Sront River in Syria, a well-preserved human skeleton was found, reaching 5.5 m in height.
* The Spanish conquistadors, during the conquest of America, in one of the Mayan temples discovered a human skeleton, so stunning them with its dimensions that, by order of Cortes, the find was sent across the ocean to the Pope.
* For a long time, the Church believed that the first man, Adam, was 40 m tall, and Eve was about 30 m. And not only priests, but also serious scientists, for example, Karl Linnaeus, thought so.
When giants ruled the earth
Proof of the existence of a race of giants on Earth can be found in their numerous imprints, found on almost all continents in rocks that are tens, and sometimes hundreds of millions of years old.
In the 70s of the last century, a trace of a giant human foot was discovered in Tanzania. Its length was 80 centimeters. The footprints found in America in the state of Nevada differ little in size. After torrential rains that lasted for several weeks, fossilized footprints were exposed in the sandstone. The distance between the two prints was two meters, and the foot was about 50 centimeters long. The age of the rock was determined by geologists at 210-250 million years.
2500 dinosaur tracks were found on a plateau near the Turkmen village of Khoja-pil-ata! There is no such number of prints anywhere else. But the point is not their number. Among the numerous chains left by ancient lizards, two chains of the so-called five-toed tracks were found.
One of them consists of tracks about 26 centimeters long. They roughly correspond to the footprints of a modern man 1.65-1.7 meters high. But the traces of another chain were about 60 centimeters long. The giant who left them was supposed to be almost 5 meters tall.
Where did this amazing tribe of giants come from, who lived on Earth 50 million years ago and have already disappeared in the memory of modern man?
Scientists argue … Among the educated but very mystically minded intelligentsia, who lived at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the hypothesis of the existence of several successive races on Earth was popular. One of the latter lived on the legendary mainland of Lemuria.
Representatives of this race were a good fifty meters tall. After the mainland was split by underground forces, the remnants of the once mighty tribe were isolated and began to degenerate. The growth of people gradually decreased from 50 to 15-10, and then to 5 meters.
More than 100 years have passed. And at the beginning of the third millennium, biologists recalled the hypothesis of the degeneration of a tribe of giants into modern people. More precisely, one biologist remembered - Alexander Belov, who put forward a scandalous, as the newspapers write, hypothesis about the reverse, so to speak, evolution.
Its meaning lies in the fact that man is not the "crown of the creation of nature", the final element of the evolution of the living world, but the beginning of it. All living things that exist on Earth have occurred as a result of the degradation of a person who once lived, perfect in its physical and spiritual qualities.
Alexander Belov considers the degradation of giants, which led to the emergence of modern people, to be one of the links in reverse evolution. “In our opinion,” believes Alexander Belov, “initially, humanity looked somewhat different from us. World myths abound with mighty giants …
It is logical to assume that since we, like our smaller brothers, are degradants of intelligent beings who once lived, it means that they (giants) are much more perfect than us. The myths about the golden age, heroes and mighty giants sound in unison with this assumption."
It turns out that chains consisting of megaliths, giant bones of giants, prints of their footprints in ancient sediments, and myths about giants are drawn to modern man from ancient Lemuria, where, perhaps, our distant perfect and mighty ancestor lived.
And here is the version of the German anthropologist F. Weidenreich. The great primates - gigantopithecus - were already humans. They gradually turned into mega-anthropes, and those, having become much smaller, "degenerated" into modern people. If this hypothesis is correct, then the highly respected Charles Darwin and his monkeys are leaving for a well-deserved rest.
The tallest man of modern times has grown to 280 cm (documented value). The smallest woman is up to 50 cm (this little girl, by the way, performed in a strip show for $ 20 an hour). What do we see? More than five times the difference. If you put a person of average height (170 cm) in place of this midget, then its giant antipode will grow up to nine meters.
So, in principle, the assumption that nine-meter people could live on planet Earth is not so incredible. If we imagine the dreadful possibility of a new Flood, then perhaps the next generation of homo sapiens will have to “walk under the table” and erect monuments to giants from the past - that is, to us.
