In a new interview for the newspaper "Argumenty i Fakty" Vadim Chernobrov, coordinator of the research public association "Cosmopoisk" spoke about a case in the forest of the Arkhangelsk region when mushroom pickers observed UFOs and aliens.
You talked about how residents of the Arkhangelsk region stumbled upon a certain apparatus and creatures accompanying it in the taiga. What was it and how did it end?
Vadim Chernobrov: Let me remind you that in the spring of this year, two residents of the city of Shenkursk (the administrative center of the Shenkursk municipal district of the Arkhangelsk region) went into the forest for mushrooms and on the way back saw a structure similar to an oil barrel near the path. So they, in any case, perceived it and called it among themselves.
Nearby were two "oilmen" in tight-fitting overalls. They entered into conversation with them. The "oil workers" spoke normally in Russian and invited their new acquaintances to the "barrel" - to give them a ride home. They entered, and inside - a cabin with a transparent roof, instruments, control panel. We sat down in armchairs, the floor became transparent, and the "barrel" took off.
Mushroom pickers sit neither alive nor dead. The "oil workers" gave them a little ride, and not only over their native taiga, but all over the world. We showed them different countries and cities. For example, they saw the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin through the floor of an aircraft. They were also shown some revelations that still require their decoding. In particular, they may relate to the Boeing disaster near Donetsk, which occurred a few months later, in July.
Then the "barrel" returned to Shenkursk and sat in the taiga near the city. The mushroom pickers politely said goodbye, and they went home. Having come to their senses and trying to comprehend what had happened, they turned to us in "Cosmopoisk". I convey this story from their words.
Vadim, maybe people just wanted cheap fame? To come to them from Moscow, listen to them, show them on TV …
- All their glory was limited to this story to us. Nobody showed them on TV, they didn't publish photos in newspapers. Moreover, we showed the video of their interviews to psychologists, and they confirmed that the narrators were not lying.

Now comes the fun part. One of them used to work as a tractor driver, did not have a higher education and was in no way connected with computers and high technologies. And suddenly, for no apparent reason, this person felt a craving for computers, began to study them and even opened a service center in Shenkursk for their repair. He is now their chief IT specialist "in the village", a specialist in computers.
What happened to these people, ufologists call contact of the third kind. In these cases, eyewitnesses observe not only UFOs, but also its inhabitants - humanoid beings. They can negotiate in the observers' native language. And often, after such a meeting, people discover previously unknown abilities.
