Sometimes you should deceive the conductor
It's amazing that a miracle often comes to a person at the moment when he stops believing in him. This happened with Wolf Messing, who, at the age of 11, dropped out of the religious school where he studied and simply ran away from home. His father made him believe in his exclusive destiny, but not at all because he himself was convinced of the extraordinary abilities of his son. It was just convenient for him that he became a rabbi.
To fulfill his goal, Messing Sr. did not hesitate to use impartial means. He hired a colorful tramp who declared himself the messenger of the Almighty, who told little Wolf about his "special destiny." Two years later, having figured out the deception, the young Messing, distinguished by his impressionability, was so shocked, disappointed and offended that he poisoned himself out of nowhere, boarding a train to Berlin.
His pockets were empty, so the boy hid under the bench from the conductor. When he was discovered, he held out an ordinary piece of paper, assuring that it was a ticket. Wolf succeeded in a similar hypnotic trick. It was then that he realized that he still belongs to the elite, as he was endowed with unusual abilities. But he never returned to his strict father, and did not want to become a rabbi.

Staunton, having analyzed hundreds of cases, stated that planes leaving on an unhappy flight are usually filled with passengers by no more than 60%. And some even turn out to be half-empty at moments of tragic incidents. Therefore, managing to avoid catastrophic situations, the lucky ones are saved.
But what is the reason for this phenomenon, is it really a mystic? Some are looking for the answer in religious Talmuds and the Bible, astrologers point to the location of the planets. Some individuals believe that the point is not even in the horoscopes, but in the numbers of the date of birth themselves, supposedly the lucky ones are born only according to certain numbers.
Which hemisphere does intuition reside in?
And what does the meticulous modern science say about this? An ingenious answer to this question is given by the same American scientists, in particular, the neuroscientist Richard Davidson. He believes that the brain of the lucky ones works very differently than that of other people.
Experiments carried out by the scientist have shown that the active activity of the left hemisphere of the brain increases people's optimistic mood and promotes the development of intuition, since information about the present and the future is stored in this area. Therefore, she grants her master the inclination to hope, wait, and anticipate. People with a developed left hemisphere are the lucky ones who relatively often get out of the water, as they say, in various situations, miraculously avoid unpleasant stories, receive salvation from misfortunes in the most unexpected places, and also often win the lottery. For example, Winston Churchill was known as an outstanding lucky guy. Once in the war, returning from the location of the anti-aircraft battery, for some unknown reason, he flatly refused to sit in the front seat of the car. In just a few minutes, adjutant,settled in its place, died in a mine explosion.
And the right hemisphere, in addition to the present, has data about the past. In this regard, people with the activity of this part of the brain prefer to be sad and regret more, drowning out the prophetic voice from the left hemisphere.
Hence the conclusion: you should not indulge in pessimism, but it is better to perceive the environment with optimism. Then the capricious lady luck will rush to meet her, and there will also be a way out of any hopeless situation. And if you strongly believe that instead of a piece of paper there is a real ticket, then, very likely, a strict controller will also believe in it. And even, perhaps, the ability to predict future events will open.
Living things are able to foresee the future
The American theory is, of course, curious, but is it so correct? There are enough cases in the history of mankind when creative people possessed the gift of foresight. For example, the scientist Tatishchev and the poet Skovoroda, they managed to guess not only the date of their death, but also the exact time. It is possible that they had a special brain with a developed left hemisphere.
However, the ability to anticipate death is possessed not only by highly developed, intelligent beings, but also by animals. It is paradoxical that they even turn out to be more perspicacious than a person, although they have meager intelligence, and they cannot boast of the activity of any of the cerebral hemispheres. And one can only wonder: where their intuition is "located"! Nevertheless, even small creatures with a head no larger than a nut are quite capable of prophesying. And for the facts confirming this, you do not need to go far.
Everyone knows that rats run from a crash box first. Here, of course, you can see that intuition has nothing to do with it. It's just that these, not quite cute, rodents live in the holds of ships. And when a leak opens there, even a small one, with their panic they signal the ship's crew of danger. But it happens that rats start to get nervous for no apparent reason and even without any logical explanation. Then the solution often comes later. However, it is sometimes too late to take action.
A similar incident occurred during the war on a barge carrying food and sailing from England to one of the ports of the city of Murmansk. It suddenly happened that from the hold of this "floating vessel" hordes of rats ran in abundance. The small animals were so scared that, without hesitation, they jumped into the icy water and even tried to climb the rope onto the barge that followed in tow. Soon, the ship from which they quickly escaped was sunk by a direct hit from an aerial bomb. Which of the people can boast of such a foresight?
But there are even more amazing examples in nature. Plants do not even have a rat brain, but Moscow scientists were lucky enough to register electrical impulses in some representatives of the flora at the moment of weak exposure to fire. This is not surprising, but similar impulses immediately began to be observed in all plants that were simply in the room, even before experiments were carried out on them. Isn't this telepathy, or perhaps a presentiment of possible danger?
Researchers come to the conclusion that the "foresight mechanism" is much older than the mind, and its roots are hidden in the depths of the subconscious. So, the gift of prophecy is, rather, not the future, but the past of humanity.
