Immediately after the total solar eclipse in the United States on Monday, the organization MUFON, which specializes in the study of the UFO phenomenon, began to receive reports of numerous sightings of unidentified flying objects during a rare astronomical event. Most of the photographs sent were rejected by specialists, since the UFOs on them turned out to be just lens flares projected onto film. However, 2 images were found to be credible.

On the first sim card, made in Denver, Colorado, a gray disc-shaped object can be seen in the lower right corner against the background of the moon's disk covering the sun. “I was in the backyard photographing the sky during a solar eclipse,” says the author of the picture. - I didn't notice the subject until I returned to viewing the captured photos a few minutes after I finished shooting. When I first saw the dot in the picture, I thought it might be a bird and then enlarged it. When I saw the close-up image, at first I was a little scared, and then I felt the excitement that perhaps I captured a UFO."

In the second image, which was taken in Scots Bluff State Reserve, Nebraska, three disc-shaped objects can be seen at once. “I took this photo when the moon almost covered the sun. Nothing was visible in the sky with the naked eye or through the camera's viewfinder, says an eyewitness. - The photo shows three dark unidentified objects flying over the city. I didn't notice any objects until I reviewed the shots later that day. All objects look different. One is long and bullet-like, and the other two have blurred edges."
