It is difficult to draw a dividing line between the phenomena of UFO, poltergeist and Bigfoot. Either a poltergeist is played out after a UFO visit, or people see Yeti disembarking from a flying saucer. American ufologists know zones where all phenomena arise simultaneously and act as if they were controlled from a single center.
Unsuccessful purchase
In the late 1970s, ufologists John Derr and Leo Sprinkle learned about the anomalous zone in sparsely populated Elbert County, southeast of Denver, Colorado. Even by 2003, only 22 thousand people lived in the district.
(Unfortunately, we did not manage to find any photos for this story and it is rarely mentioned even in connection with ufological topics).
The main participants in the events studied by ufologists were the owners of the ranches - the spouses John and Barbara. They had a business partner, Jim. He had to go through the most. Having bought a ranch, the new owners learned that a good place has been empty for many years. The naive townspeople were not told what was "unclean" there. Jim moved there in the fall of 1975. Once the cattle began to bellow loudly at night. Jim went out to see what was the matter.
- The guard dog was afraid of something. She stood on the porch and asked to enter the house, - he recalls. “The herd usually doesn’t come close to human habitation, but now the cows are crowded around the porch so tightly that I could hardly get into the yard.
I saw a large bright object - orange, trapezoidal, like the top of a lighthouse. I went there and for some reason suddenly realized: something is happening that I am not supposed to know about! I went back to the house and tried to forget everything.

One winter evening, the three of them were watching TV. Jim lay down and … could not get up, lay as if paralyzed. The same thing happened with Barbara. A real light show began outside the window - colored lights flashed and went out. But John, the only one able to move, did not dare to go to the window to see what was happening there.
Yeti begin siege
Soon after, 16-year-old Joe, John and Barbara's eldest son, was walking in the woods with his friend. Suddenly, the guys stumbled upon a dead and bloodless cow. Her udder, eye, ear and rectum were cut out with surgical precision. Terrified, they rushed home. At the same time, it seemed to them that someone was following them.
The guys came back in a panic and talked about what happened. The men went to the scene, found the disfigured corpse of a cow and in the snow - large footprints of bare feet 45 centimeters long. The footprints were next to the footprints of the guys from the killed cow and even imprinted on the manure inside the stable. Then a few more cows suffered the same fate.
One evening, three ranchers smoking on the terrace saw Bigfoot. A huge black figure broke through the barbed wire fence and went straight for them. The guests ran into the house. Jim jumped out, but there was no one there. Large footprints were left on the ground, and long tufts of wool hung from the torn ends of the barbed wire.
Meanwhile, a poltergeist was playing on the ranch. Objects moved, the doors of locked cars were thrown open and closed. The Bigfoot continued to appear, and eventually Jim used the gun.
- Someone constantly approached the house, knocked on the walls of the house and ran away, - says Jim. - Once I jumped out after knocking and saw a big hairy creature running away. Nerves were on edge, and I shot her. It looks like I didn't hurt her in the least, although I shoot well and I know I hit. There were no traces of blood in the snow.
Voluptuous invisible
The unknown forces operating on the ranch, it turns out, knew how to speak. Jim found out about this under dramatic circumstances.
“Once we returned in the evening and saw that Joe and two of his friends were huddled in horror into the back room. According to them, someone was constantly banging on the walls and roof of the house. I could not resist, flew out onto the porch and burst into abuse.
I threatened that if we didn’t live here, nobody would get the land, and I would blow everything up to hell. I went into the house, drank whiskey, calmed down. Then he went out onto the porch again. And then there was a voice that seemed to be heard from everywhere: "Dr. Jim, we agree." I was shocked.
Once friends came to Jim and Barbara - David and Harry. In conversations, they did not notice how time flew by. The guests had to spend the night. We woke up from the fact that it became light outside the windows as it was during the day. And what? It turned out that nine UFOs landed in front of the house at once!
Jim, overcoming his fear, went out into the yard. And at the same moment, some force threw Barbara off the bed on the floor. Barbara screamed, Harry came to her aid, who lifted the mistress of the house and began to call Jim.
- While I was busy with Barbara, UFOs disappeared, - continues his story Jim. - Why didn't they knock me out, because I was going to them? Then I began to understand: they did the most practical thing to drive me back into the house and distract other people from the window. David was paralyzed during the incident - he could hear us but couldn't get up until it was over.
Then we went outside with him. Then there was a high-pitched sound, like a very loud squeak of a mosquito. It sounded all night long. David then fell ill for three days, and everyone else literally had a headache.
Penetration
The devilry that besieged the house was not afraid of weapons. Once a stranger looked through the window, apparently of gigantic stature. The fact is that, standing on the ground, you cannot reach the window, it is located quite high. Barbara shouted from the bedroom that she was not feeling well. Jim propped the door with a chair just in case and went to calm her down.
- I calmed Barbara and returned to my seat. And suddenly the door opened, knocking over the chair. I jumped up, ran to the door, slammed it again. And then right in my head a loud voice rang out: "We don't need to open your doors to enter the house." I went back to Barbara and told her about it.
She looked at me in bewilderment. There was a buzzing sound in the front room, like a swarm of bees. Barbara grabbed my arm so hard it left bruises. I didn't want to go find out where the sound was coming from and was glad she was holding me. The sound just died down, that's all.
Jim became convinced that unknown forces are able to control the minds of people. Once the owners witnessed that the postman could not approach the house: as soon as he approached, something made him turn around and run back into the field. The owners, seeing the postman running back and forth, thought that he was crazy. Only their intervention stopped the postman.
Contact in the forest
In January 1977, Jim and Joe, "not knowing why," went into the woods at night. There was an object in the snow, about ten meters in diameter. Strange sounds came from the object, as if there were a swarm of angry bees inside. Jim told Joe to step away, while he approached the object.
- When I approached about a meter and a half, the sound coming from the object intensified. I walked away. At the same moment, the object became transparent and I saw two creatures inside it. They were about 1.7 meters tall, in tight-fitting suits, like a flight suit. It is unclear how their clothes changed color from silver to brown. Light skin, big eyes, blond hair. What struck me most was their huge almond-shaped eyes without pupils.
Their words sounded in my head: "It's so good that you came." They apologized for the inconvenience and said that a more acceptable agreement would be reached between us. I replied, “What agreement? You kill livestock, do not let us live in peace. What for? Want to draw attention to yourself? But that's silly to say the least.
The creatures denied everything and asked me not to get too close. Then, from somewhere out of the trees, a huge creature covered with dark fur came out.
This is how eyewitnesses usually portray Bigfoot. He approached the object, which abruptly changed the tone of the sound, and Bigfoot fell. “As you can see, this is fatal,” sounded in my head.
After this, the creatures said that we would continue the conversation later. They didn't say goodbye, I just felt that it was time to leave.
Jim hoped that the aliens would at least suggest a recipe for a cure for cancer or a new way to mine gold, but his hopes were in vain. Moreover, the poltergeist in the house increased, and UFOs of truly gigantic proportions began to appear over the ranch. One such cone-shaped ship was seen by Barbara. The object had a diameter of at least 300 meters.
Alien Ultimatum
It took about a month. One evening in the whole house the lights went out and a mechanical voice rang out. It came from all the speakers in the house - radio, televisions. The owners sat in front of the stereo system, the voice sounded from there too. Jim still remembers the words they heard:
- Attention, we allow you to stay. We interfere a little with your life. Don't make you do something that you regret. Instruct your friends to be silent about us.
At night, Jim opened his eyes and saw three creatures two meters tall, with very thin limbs, near his bed. Each had an object on their chest that looked like a box. The creatures looked at Jim, who could not move, "like surgeons at a patient lying on the table, not cruelly, not indifferent, just looking." Then Jim fell into blackness.
A few days later, the paint on the porch of the house ignited by itself. For people, this was the last straw that overflowed the cup of patience. The ranch had to be abandoned.
Aliens, having chosen one or another zone, prefer to be in it without witnesses. They do not need the energy of the human body: they prefer to drive people away, rather than restrain them. They are ruthless to animals, but they do not encroach on human life. Or maybe we just don't know everything. It is possible that there are places where the aliens destroyed people, and no one can tell about the events that took place there.
