In 2015, the researchers of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore, at the request of a private company, raised from the archive photographs of Krasnoyarsk sights during the reign of Nicholas II. The museum workers were struck by one fact: in the background about 20 photos, the same girl was seen.

Girl's appearance
The child in the photo is 8-10 years old, always wearing a hat, with an umbrella. Judging by the expensive outfit, she is from a wealthy family. The young lady's hairstyle is the same: a long braid with a ribbon of dark color, located on the right shoulder; dressed in a light coat, from under which a dark dress peeps out. However, thanks to the multiple magnification of the photographs, experts noticed that some details of the clothing were changing. The differences in her image were different stockings and boots.
All the pictures have something in common: the sullen expression on the girl's face, and also the fact that she is not the central object in the photo, but is only present in them.

The girl in the photos: who is she?
Today, there are several versions of who the girl in the photographs could be. This story did not attract such public attention, if not for the main controversy. The pictures were taken in different periods: from 1906 to 1908. Over these several years, the child's age-related changes would have been incredibly noticeable. However, in all the photographs the girl is of the same age.
The main versions of determining the identity of the child:
1. Fake, forgery of professionals. Many researchers were surprised by the fact that for over a century no one was interested in the presence of the girl in the pictures. Perhaps the girl appeared on them after they were done. This theory was immediately refuted, since the girl was also found on 4 glass negatives. Moreover, the experts have proven the authenticity of the photo, the absence of editing and other manipulations with the image.
2. A ghost, an ageless phantom. The girl in 20 photographs taken in different years has absolutely not changed. So, as this feature cannot be explained from a scientific point of view.
3. A real child. This version is supported by Ilya Kuklinsky, a senior researcher at the Krasnoyarsk Museum, who is actively looking for clues. He believes that the girl cannot be a ghost, since she is present on the negatives.
4. Daughter or relative of the photographer. The pictures were taken by completely different photographers, judging by the inscriptions on them. The authorship of some of them has not yet been determined due to the presence of F. E. A.
5. The soul of Krasnoyarsk. A series of modern postcards for tourists has provoked another version. Many, having familiarized themselves with the images, claim that the young lady is still alive, walking in the vicinity of the modern city, seen in the same places as in the photo. There is no evidence of the presence of a child in the modern world.
6. Paranormal activity. Some clairvoyants suggest that the photo contains the restless soul of a girl who died by suffocation or hanging.
To this day, due to the presence of many conflicting details, the solution has not been found.
