Pavel Sitnikov, a Tyumen naturalist and specialist in rare biological and anomalous phenomena, continues to reveal secrets to everyone. Secrets that we generally know about, but still do not believe in them, thanks to the abundance of television programs with a mass of "reliable facts" and countless fakes on the Internet.

Lectures are held on Wednesdays in the "House of Health" at 30 Vodoprovodnaya (Tyumen) and are available to everyone. The entrance is free. At his second multimedia lecture, Pavel Sitnikov spoke about Bigfoot, separating truth from fiction.

For those who don't believe

There is only one argument for the doubters - where are real photos and videos of the Yeti, taken by eyewitnesses. Everyone has cell phones, and for a long time. All tourists, fishermen, hunters take their cameras with them. And where is there any snapshot you can believe? There are tons of stories, but no evidence. Therefore, the researcher began his lecture on the yeti with a question about the brown bear. Has anyone seen him in the wild? Only a few will answer in the affirmative. And what were their feelings from meeting a bear? Did you want to photograph him?

“But this is the most common beast, the Red Book does not threaten him for sure,” Pavel Sitnikov is sure. - I spent two weeks in the Verkhne-Tazovsky reserve, where all the paths are trampled by bears. There, a reindeer cannot trample as many trails as a brown bear. I have visited the most bearish places, but I have not been able to take at least one picture of the bear. With regret, he told the game manager, who followed me with a "small".

"Well, thank God, Pavel Sergeevich!" - the game manager answered me. You can imagine: in the Tyumen region there is not a single color photograph of a brown bear in natural habitat! Here, either no luck, or the photographer falls into a stupor. And even more so at the sight of Bigfoot! Bigfoot is, rather, not an object, but a creature that has a lot of synonyms: sasquatch, bikfoot, yeti. And so many popular names were invented by the aborigines in the north of the Tyumen region. The essence is the same. Its scientific name is "relict hominoid".

Just a goblin

"Relic" means a miracle survivor, and "gomenoid" is essentially a person. Zoologists even invented the Latin name Pithecanthropus alalus for him. Alalus - "non-speaking". The fact is that no one has ever heard any words from him. Once, someone was able to discern a muttering that shouldn't be mistaken for speech. Bigfoot is characterized by a terrible whistle, no man with his lungs can whistle like that.

“I immediately remember Russian folk tales about the nightingale the robber,” the logical stalker continues to think. - What kind of person would climb a tree to scare people with his whistle? Apparently, with his whistle Bigfoot (or the goblin, as we used to call him in the old days) marks his territory. The bear leaves scratches on the tree trunk: the higher the scratches, the healthier the owner of the territory.

The name "Bigfoot" stuck to him after the famous 50 cm long trail was discovered in Tibet. Since the tracks were found in the snow, it means it is Bigfoot. In fact, the relict hominid has nothing to do with snow - it simply lives where there is a shelter. In forests, ravines and mountains, where there are many caves, and where the snow lasts longer than on the plain. Often, Bigfoot is painted with white wool. But this, according to Pavel Sitnikov, is rather an exception.

“In the early 1980s, we accidentally met a classmate on the plane - we flew to Krasnodar,” the stalker recalled. - So she told me the case of how near Salekhard she saw a female Bigfoot with a cub. The female had white hair. Unfortunately, in those years I was not yet seriously interested in this topic. Otherwise I would have asked my classmate everything down to the smallest details."

Hypnosis is unknown to him

Pavel Sitnikov notes that they write in the books, they say, Bigfoot, supposedly hypnotizes a person, so he cannot photograph anything. I strongly disagree. It's just that when he meets that creature in which he does not believe, the person falls into horror, numb with fear.

“The Bigfoot is not an invention of journalists who are hanging on to their ears,” Sitnikov is sure. - This is confirmed by the engraving of the XVI century. One of them depicts a relict hominid with a club, and a knight in armor is swinging a sword in front of him. There was no journalism in those days!"

Where did Bigfoot come from? Some experts, according to Sitnikov, believe that it was not evolution, as a person, created him, and that these were not feral people, but miraculously survived gigantopithecus - a kind of extinct humanoid species recognized by biologists. It was just a fairly large size. In particular, skeletons of creatures up to 5 meters high are found.

People all over the world face Bigfoot. An atlas was compiled showing such places in the USSR, up to the 1950s and 1960s. Judging by this atlas, most of the observations were recorded in the north of the Tyumen region, especially in the Shuryshkarsky district. The leader of Russian stalkers, the head of Kosmopoisk, Vadim Chernobrov, being in Tyumen, said that the Tyumen region is one of the most promising areas for studying the relict hominoid.

Yeti has flat feet

There is also an atlas of footprints left by Bigfoot. “Their main difference is in the absence of the arch of the foot,” Sitnikov explained. - The yeti has flat feet. And how does he then walk through the taiga all day? In theory, with such flat feet, the goblin should sit on each stump and howl from pain in his legs. The fact is that Bigfoot walks on bent legs. Cushioning is not due to the arch of the foot, but due to the legs bent at the knees, which gives him good mobility.

Traces of the mysterious creature are found not only in the north of the Tyumen region, but also in the south. Pavel Sitnikov told a funny story, how he recently with a group of tourists at the very wall of the Tobolsk Kremlin discovered huge footprints in the snow, at least 40 cm long.

“Well, I think, wow! I have never seen even fake footprints of Bigfoot before, - Pavel Sitnikov told this story with humor. - Interestingly, just the night before I was telling my tourists about Bigfoot. And here such luck! However, as soon as we followed in the footsteps, everything became clear. The Bigfoot footprints led us to the footprints of ordinary shoes.

Obviously, early in the morning some peasant changed his shoes here in the snow and went to amuse the people. There is still no experience in deceiving people. Apparently, this is how they begin to promote a new brand in Tobolsk. They understand that you can also make money on the Bigfoot. I was convinced of this once again when I saw in one of the souvenir shops of Gostiny Dvor a toy Bigfoot with a muzzle like a circus clown. I don't know who will buy it for 2000 rubles."

Another branch of evolution

“If you think that scientists are not dealing with this problem, then you are mistaken, - said the narrator. - In Tyumen State University, at the Institute of Biology, there is a Department of Zoology, headed by Sergey Gashev, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor. At one time he did not hesitate to write an article entitled "Bigfoot in the Tyumen region" in the scientific collection of the regional museum of local lore. Sergei Gashev believes in the existence of Bigfoot, and in his article he did not just describe all the cases that he knew. He, as a scientist, played all these facts from a scientific point of view and gave an interesting map-diagram - the meeting places of people with Bigfoot.

Judging by it, the Yeti's main habitat is from the Arctic Circle to the Uvat region. So, judging by the map, wherever Bigfoot was seen, it is called differently. Aboriginal people do not read journalistic articles, do not watch American films about the yeti, they do not know at all that this creature may be of interest to someone, and perceive Bigfoot as naturally as a brown bear. I myself talked with the Nenets, and when you become friends with them during the day (and without alcohol!), They quite adequately talk about Bigfoot, who saw him and when. One even admitted that his father shot two of them in the taiga. By the way, if you see footprints of a Bigfoot, I advise you to run after him, and if you are afraid - call me. The footprints should lead to a den where hair can be found, and the hair is DNA."

Sergei Gashev, according to the researcher, gave a diagram of where the relict hominid came from. There is a curve of the evolution of apes, from the most primitive to the very top line (our time), that is, before you and me, there is a curve of the evolution of humanoid creatures, which are all already extinct, these are Neanderthals. For a long time, Neanderthals lived in parallel with Homo sapiens. And there is another developmental curve for Pithecanthropus alalus. And this branch of evolution has survived to this day.

And footprints can scare to death

Pavel Sitnikov communicated with many eyewitnesses, who saw the yeti with their own eyes, saw their traces, watched a lot of photographs and video footage, and can easily identify falsification, including by indirect signs. When he worked in the museum, television people often contacted him, who received this kind of material. Pavel Sitnikov acted as an expert. He acknowledged the tracks taken by hunters in the Shuryshkarsky region as genuine. Not only because the tracks were no longer fresh (fakes are usually removed immediately so that their work is not covered with snow), the way the video was shot played a role. Behind the scenes, not even excitement was clearly felt, but fear and … checkmate on the mat. Likewise, without restraining emotions, they shoot UFOs and upload videos to the network.

During one of the northern expeditions, Pavel Sitnikov met with Olga Koshmanova, the author of the book "A Look in the Back": about a Bigfoot living in the Kondinsky District. She herself had not seen the yeti. I believed in him when I saw a huge footprint on white moss. When a person steps on the moss, it quickly straightens up. The moss was literally crushed.

This creature weighed not 60–80 kg, and not 100, or even 200 kg, but much more. They then, together with her husband, gathered mushrooms in the forest. Throwing the baskets, they ran home, afraid of the only trace. Unfortunately, this behavior is quite symptomatic. But if they carefully carved this footprint and carried it home in their arms and handed it over to the local history museum, there would be a queue there, like in a mausoleum. Pavel Sitnikov has no doubts about this.

One creature got caught

Olga Koshmanova's book is based on eyewitness testimonies who encountered Bigfoot. There are a lot of such cases. Perhaps, it is no coincidence that a hairy man is depicted on the ancient coat of arms of the Kondinsky region? After all, the coat of arms depicts something characteristic of a given territory.

“From the book I learned that, it turns out, there was even a case when a relict hominoid was caught,” noted Pavel Sitnikov. - It was in the late 1940s. The author describes the case from the recollections of one grandmother who remembered well how it all happened. And I even believed in this story. The situation was like this. A boy got lost in one of the villages. After some time he was found at the edge of the village torn in half. And whoever did it was sitting here in the position of a chimpanzee and stared blankly at the local men who found him. The creature was tied in its paws, realized that it was not necessary to kill it, since it was a valuable find for science, and decided to show it to scientists.

The creature was loaded onto a boat and taken along the Konda River in the direction of Khanty-Mansiysk, to be transported from there to Tyumen and further. While they were taking the prisoner, they stopped in each village and showed him to everyone. Among those who saw the Bigfoot was the same old woman. And I'm more than sure that the local woman told the truth. According to her description, the fur on the forehead of the creature grew from the center up in two braids. This feature, which has sunk into her soul so much, is very characteristic of primates and humanoid creatures, but only primatologists can know about it - the grandma should not have known such nuances."

The Bigfoot was not brought to the scientists, probably, the creature came to its senses, escaped from the boat into freedom, having such a power. And … drowned!

In the Kirov forests

Once again, Pavel Sitnikov became convinced of the existence of Bigfoot when, with a group from "Cosmopoisk", he visited the dense forests of the Kirov region. Specially, together with other stalkers, they tried to record the presence of the Yeti. The story of two young guys from "Cosmopoisk", who spent the night in a hunter's hut, pushed me to a serious expedition. At night they were both numb with fear when someone began to shake the hut. The Yeti decided to pay a visit to the stalkers himself, and not just let him in, but were afraid to even move.

Unfortunately, during the expedition, the stalkers did not manage to fix the yeti in the Kirov forests. They found only characteristic traces of Bigfoot's presence - broken young trees, at a height of 3-4 meters. During the expedition, local residents, who were also absolutely sober, told Pavel Sitnikov things that non-specialists cannot know about.

For example, when a female ran away from them, and they followed her trail, they noticed that the tops of the pines along the path of the female's departure were broken. Breaks branches and immediately leaves them. This feature is typical not only for ours, but also for American Yeti.

Truth and fiction

There are a lot of outright lies on the subject of Bigfoot, among which there is real evidence. One of the credible videos, according to Sitnikov, was filmed in 1967, when a female Yeti in the background runs in front of the camera.

“She runs so dexterously that the artist will not run over this deadwood like that, while still turning his head towards the camera, he will stumble and break his face. I believe in this video! - concludes the Tyumen stalker. “I couldn't find fault with the photo of Bigfoot's corpse in a box. There was a case when customs officers detained a box with a decaying Bigfoot corpse.

This news went around the world, and after three days a refutation was made. It was reported that it was a fancy dress. But if you look closely at the picture, you can pay attention to the exposed radial bones. This cannot be in a fancy dress. Most likely, this fact was hidden from the public and became the property of a private collection.

But the scalp of Bigfoot, kept to attract the "flock" as an ancient relic in one of the Tibetan temples, turned out to be a fake. Scientists examined this "scalp" for DNA and came to the conclusion that it was made from the skin of a common chamois.

At the moment, I know of only one irrefutable case that confirms the existence of Bigfoot - the brushes of creatures similar to primates. DNA analysis showed that the hands of the paws did not belong to a gorilla, chimpanzee or humans. And who exactly, they cannot say, because there is no reference sample of Bigfoot DNA."
