UFO encounters

Squinting a little from the light of bright lamps, Nikolai said:
- I met my school friend yesterday. By the way, she is a psychiatrist. We started talking. She said: if a person sees something like that, then this is our patient. And if you are interested in this, then you are our patient!
Yes … With this kind of approach, it was not surprising that those who saw “something like that” preferred to keep quiet until recently. Although it has long been proven that to suspect the overwhelming majority of involuntary eyewitnesses of abnormality is simply stupid. Back in 1969, a psychiatrist from America B. Schwartz examined 3,400 patients and did not find among them a single eyewitness to the appearance of UFOs. Even mentally handicapped people had almost no interest in such a topic.
And in 1994, the results of studies were published, which were conducted by Carleton University in Ottawa. All the UFO eyewitnesses they examined turned out to be completely normal people, not prone to fantasy or hallucinations. Moreover, their level of mental development turned out to be higher than in the "control" group of people examined for comparison, who had not seen "anything like that." This is understandable: a narrow-minded person is unlikely to become worried and report somewhere about what he saw. And we shouldn't forget that among the eyewitnesses there are people who regularly undergo a comprehensive health check - pilots, police …
Another fact that was noticed by both our and foreign experts: most of the observations are group or mass. If we go to the cold language of statistics, then only in 34% of cases there was one eyewitness (more precisely, he did not know who else saw the same thing that he did!), And when thousands of people see “something”, this is very serious …
A considerable part of people who have seen UFOs are professionals for whom frivolity is downright contraindicated. These are the police, pilots, and the military. But sometimes UFOs are seen by those, and others, and still others, not to mention the multitude of civilians. This is exactly what happened in Krasnoyarsk.

“It was an ordinary winter day, December 27, 1989,” said police major V. Tarasov. - At this time it starts to get dark early, and by 6 pm Krasnoyarsk is completely plunged into the night. The moon rose, the stars twinkled brightly in the sky like winter. Suddenly, I noticed that several stars began to take on a red hue - as if someone had turned on signal lights at an unattainable height. And then I saw what I resolutely refused to believe: the "stars" … were moving!
These objects, writing out zigzag curves, quickly moved somewhere to the north. Their resemblance to the lights of a flying plane was out of the question. Another object hovered over the receding objects - a bright red dot, constantly increasing in size. The impression was that this "something" was carefully going to land. Having reached the size of the police "flasher", the object slowed down. Several small lanterns were lit around it with equal intervals, forming a regular circle or, more precisely, a circle - the stars did not shine through the darkened part of the object …”.
Traffic policemen who were a little to the side saw this "plate" in profile - several "windows" the size of a city apartment window, shining with dazzling white light. At the same time, serviceman N. Klishko, flying over the mountain on a Yak-40 plane, saw this UFO from the air as a "metal plate" shining with a matte light, which he immediately reported to the rest of the passengers. The pilots, of course, saw this as well.
The object flaunted in front of excited eyewitnesses for one and a half to two hours and then went further - towards the excavator plant. The traffic police post located there immediately "spotted" the appearance of a UFO. His signs, transmitted by radio, completely coincided. And then suddenly the radio went silent.
As the traffic police officers later told, the radio was "cut out" at the moment when the object was about two hundred meters away. Only when the "saucer" flew over the post and moved away from it at the same distance, the communication itself resumed.
A week before this incident, officer V. Vizul drove around midnight with two other police officers in Krasnoyarsk at night. He saw the lights hovering over the Yenisei … The police stopped and got out of the car.
Two large, horizontally placed red headlights hovered motionless above the water. After that, a white cloud resembling a large soap bubble began to "blow out" from under them. The lanterns turned in one place, and next to them, two bright white spotlights were lit, located at the bow of the object. Two beams began to shine downward, gliding through the water, and the object floated silently towards the city center … many saw UFOs in the city.
And in the East Kazakhstan region, UFOs were seen not only by the police, but also by the KGB. 1990, December 20 at 17.48 - something unusual was noticed by the watchman of the KGB of the city of Leninogorsk, and at 17.55 - the head of the KGB of the Katon-Karagai region V. Shanshin. He saw two luminous objects flying in different directions. The border guards replied to the inquiry that one of the objects landed on a nearby hill.
1990, April 5 - in the morning Elena Monchenko was driving home with her husband from the city of Nikolaev. The weather was excellent, the sky was clear and starry. Somewhere around four o'clock in the morning on the section of the Kakhovka-Melitopol highway, rare cirrus clouds appeared in the sky, "like a swell on the sea." And ahead, right on the way, a very bright radiance spread …
- What is it? her husband asked.
- Probably, the oncoming car shines with headlights …
And suddenly their car drove into dense fog - nothing could be seen beyond the hood. There was a very loud noise resembling a whistle. The car began to shake and toss. Then … something like a foggy ball, a nucleus 50–70 cm in diameter, hit the windshield. Elena screamed, - her husband braked abruptly. They were thrown forward, and then it was over. How cut off. A strange "fog" went back, continuing to glow.
An even more amazing sight appeared before the residents of Rostov-on-Don. This is what Maria Utkina, the designer of Rostselmash, said:
“My husband and I run in the morning. So on April 5 at six o'clock in the morning we were already in the field, which is next to the street. Orbital, where we live. Suddenly they saw in the sky a disc smaller than the Moon, pale green in color. In a split second, he appeared before his eyes in the absolutely clear sky before. Suddenly, an object (non-metallic, and indeed some kind of immaterial) in the shape of a bird, also of a pale green color, separated from the disk, 10 times larger than an aircraft with a wingspan … almost the entire field!
He was about a kilometer above us and very quickly began to approach. I got very scared and shouted loudly: "I'm afraid!" It was especially scary to see how the "nose" began to separate from the "body" - the space was thinning. After my cry, the "bird" stopped, turned pale, and soon all that was left was a film, a pink smear on the sky. My husband and I continued to run as if by inertia. Remarkable is the fact that at that time a plane was flying across the sky. He deviated from the flight trajectory, flew around the disk (they saw it clearly!) And went on his course further."
No less convincing are the cases of encounters with UFOs of young children who still cannot read and are not capable of any successful lie. For example, in Alma-Ata, three-year-old Shamil and six-year-old Aida met with a UFO. Their mother, Aisulu Malikazhdarova, told the members of the local “Hypothesis” club about this:
“It happened on February 2, 1990, at 7-8 pm. At that time I was cooking in the kitchen. Shamil comes in and mutters something excitedly, pointing upwards. I make out the words: "I was so scared of something!" Well, you never know what a kid can get scared … Then her daughter, Aida, came and began to tell … ".
Aida said that an asterisk began to descend into their courtyard. It increased, increased and finally turned into … (Mom had to tell the word) … "plate". Decreasing, she touched one antennae at the antenna and bent it. Under the transparent hood, the silhouettes of several strange figures were visible. Then the object, the size of which local ufologists estimated at ten meters, flew away. Indeed, the fact was obvious: the antenna turned out to be bent!
