Paranormal effects when encountering a UFO

Let's start with this fact: people have always realized that they are not alone. The legends of all the peoples of the Earth carefully preserve the stories of contacts with other forms of life and the higher mind. Especially significant are the statements that we are surrounded by disembodied creatures that are able to manifest themselves in the physical world in ways unknown to us.

Was a business trip to Paris. With a few hours of free time between the two meetings, I had the pleasant opportunity to visit one of the most outstanding masterpieces of all time - the Sainte-Chapelle chapel, located on the territory of the Palais de Justice near Notre Dame Cathedral. The feeling was amazing; it can only be compared to a journey through a treasury filled to the brim with jewels. Inside the chapel itself, there is almost nothing: several sculptures and wooden paintings. Stained-glass windows are embedded in the walls, and the Parisian light, whimsically making its way through them, creates a sensation that is completely unfamiliar to simple human experience.

On one of the stained glass windows of Sainte-Chapelle, there is an image of the abduction of the prophet Ezekiel by an object similar to a tornado (Ezekiel saw some kind of wheels and four unusual creatures). He was taken to a mountain peak in the distance, where he stands, bewildered and amazed.

For 25 years, studying the UFO phenomenon, I had the opportunity to talk with many eyewitnesses who told me how they were caught by a tornado, saw unusual creatures and, at the end of everything, found themselves in a state of confusion and amazement. They turned to me to help them dispel their confusion. But I could offer them only my assurances that their case was not the only one, that many other people were also involuntary participants in this kind of adventure and that, I hope, the science of the future will finally recognize the reality of such events and will consider them as the most important source of new knowledge. …

The eyewitnesses I interviewed will never be immortalized on the stained glass windows of the chapel, where there are images of kings and queens kneeling and folding their hands in the traditional gesture of worship. These are ordinary people with inherent hopes and weaknesses. However, their stories are worthy of being heard.

Abductions

Promotional video:

My first meeting with this woman (let's call her Helene) was after she came to tell me about her intentions to build some special engine. Tall, fashionably dressed, looking more like a fashion model or a secretary, this woman was absorbed in the problem of an energy crisis and to solve it, she was developing a new type of engine.

During our conversation, Helen admitted that the idea for the engine came to her after she had been aboard a UFO. She saw him in the summer of 1968, returning from the California city of Lompoc to Los Angeles with a group of musicians.

- After the concert we got together and started on the road at about the beginning of the third night. We drove for 30-40 minutes, and perhaps even an hour. The road went south and ran on level ground. To the right, far from the road, there was a ridge of hills. Suddenly, a white light rose from behind them and headed in our direction. The plane could not change the direction of flight that way, so we decided it was a helicopter.

The device began to make erratic movements and turns - now noticeably moving away, now incredibly quickly approaching close.

I interrupt Helene to bring her back to those exciting memories and restore all of her sensations step by step.

“What was your reaction to what was happening,” I ask. - What did the others see?

There was a clear answer:

- All four, we were aware of what was happening. We talked a lot about the object, but no one said "let's hide" or something like that. George and Barbara sat in front; George is driving, I am behind him, and Dave is on my right. Dave and Barbara were scared, and George and I were extremely excited.

Okay, this, however, could be a simple helicopter.

- How did this object behave further?

- He flew over the car and settled in front of us at a height of 30 to 60 meters above the ground. It was, as it seemed to me, six lanes of the highway and looked like some very beautiful white glow. In my memory, he is imprinted as a kind of window, although, however, I'm not very sure of that. The facility was quite large but did not make any noise. Suddenly, white funnel-shaped rays appeared at four points along the perimeter of the aircraft and illuminated each of us.

She looked up and shuddered, as if the object was still there and hovering above her …

- How did you begin to feel at this moment?

“I remember leaving my body on the seat of the car and moving about a meter away from it,” she said in an indifferent voice, as if it were an absolutely ordinary matter. - The same thing happened to the rest: we left the bodies! Since that time, I don't remember anything else, and until recently I thought that nothing else had happened. But later I began to understand: something still had to happen, because then I remember myself having already returned to the car. I look around and see a flickering light around Barbara and Dave; we slowly sink back into our bodies.

It's hard for me to imagine such a scene. But the concept of "astral travel" is not new. In the same way, the witches probably went to the Sabbath, and the saints communicated with heaven. American businessman Robert Monroe, author of a book on psychic experiences, has created training centers where electromagnetic waves of a certain range help a person to leave his body under hypnosis. In the 1960s, adherents of the psychedelic culture greeted this concept with enthusiasm. In principle, any living creature is possibly capable of moving its consciousness outside its own body. But the machine is unconscious and incapable of astral travel.

- And the car? I ask Helen.

- The car at that moment remained with us, and then began to slowly move away; she moved as if by herself. Anyway, I felt so.

At Helen's request, I made an appointment with the specialists for a session of regressive hypnosis. During the session, Helen remembered being aboard the UFO and seeing its engine. She met a white-clad man there who showed her this incredible motor. This is what she intended to build now.

I began to check the factual side of Helen's story. First of all, I had a long telephone conversation with George. He had not seen Helen for several years, but he referred to the incident as "a turning point in his life." I found Dave in another city where he moved. A friend of mine, a psychiatrist, met with him and recorded his story. Like George, he perfectly remembered everything that happened and described it in the same words. Since the incident, Helen has been pursuing the idea of building an engine, the principle of which was revealed to her by one of the UFO pilots. This became the goal of her whole life. But such an engine will never work for purely physical reasons.

In this story with the "plate" there were four witnesses, and everything seems to indicate the reality of the event. But this is where I have a lot of new questions.

Let's consider this story from the point of view of the theory of "spaceships". Can we assume, like those who sacredly believe in flying saucers, that Helen saw an alien spacecraft that flew to us for research purposes? At first glance, this explanation is quite consistent with the facts.

However, what about the paranormal effects? Can we ignore Helen's testimony of her "teleportation" inside a UFO? Can we ignore the "absurdity" that characterizes this entire episode as a whole? How consistent is this with the idea of a spaceship?

A "meeting" on board the ship becomes absolutely meaningless if we assume that the man in white is an alien from a distant star. Why, exactly, should aliens be like us? Why would they show us an engine that cannot be built for objective physical reasons?

There are even more unusual reports of abductions. Without dwelling on the problem of their authenticity, we must state the existence of such evidence.

1985 - A woman named Katie told researcher Bud Hopkins that she had been inside a certain object, in a completely white room, where small gray creatures were present. Under hypnosis, Katie remembered something akin to a medical examination. In his book "Crashers", Hopkins put forward the following assumption: the inhabitants of the UFO timed their visit to a specific day of the month to remove the egg from Katy, plunging her into a state of "quasianesthesia" during the operation.

According to Hopkins, in early 1978, Katie felt pregnant; then she was 19 years old. Her wedding date, originally slated for late spring, has been pushed back to April. Pregnancy was confirmed by doctors. But in March, Katy resumed her periods, and a new test showed no pregnancy. Upon learning of this, Katie burst into tears and began to repeat: "They took my baby." According to Hopkins, under hypnosis in 1985, Katie remembered how some creatures touched her, how they fettered her movements and performed something like an operation on her.

In some other cases, abducted men and women report intimate contact with unknown creatures. Following Hopkins, many researchers claim that such messages serve as evidence of genetic experiments on humans by aliens. Moreover, they lose sight of one important circumstance: these modern stories have much in common with strange stories that have come to us from the distant past, from the pages of the most ancient written sources.
