It is a rare and probably genetic disease, almost the only carrier of which is now a six-year-old Chinese girl, Liu Jiangli.
The girl was born like that. About 60% of her body surface was covered with dark spots and hair, and therefore her parents soon abandoned it. The girl was taken in by a distant relative, great-uncle Liu Mingying.
He is very afraid that with age the girl will be more and more laughed at and bullied by her peers, especially when she goes to school. Liu Jiangli already has no friends because of this.
Moreover, no one has officially examined the girl and has not made an accurate diagnosis. Only presumably she is given one of the forms of hypertrichosis (increased hair growth). However, in typical patients with hypertrichosis, such black wrinkled spots on the skin are usually not observed.
