A resident of the city of Idaho Falls, located in the east of the American state of Idaho, reported to the World UFO Network (MUFON) about an unusual UFO of a fiery color, which muffled all natural sounds around it.
According to an eyewitness, on the evening of February 5, 2017, his brother ran into his house to warn the family that an unknown object was moving towards the house.
“While I was dressing to go outside, my two nephews were already in the yard. One of them turned on a cell phone camera to shoot a video, wrote an eyewitness in his report. - But the boy said that the phone shows an error when trying to take a video. Then he switched to snapshots and took four photographs of the UFO."
The object moved from the northwest part of the sky. It was a very bright red-orange ball. As the UFO approached the house, it began to change its shape. From the sphere it stretched out into a long cigar-shaped rod, along which lights streamed in waves.
“It looks like a glowing sword, like in the Star Wars movie,” said the older boy.
After the luminous object flew over the house, it returned to its spherical shape again. But the oddities didn't end there. All eyewitnesses noticed that all sounds disappeared in the range of the UFO.
“When the object passed over our house, it became very quiet. We did not hear anything, not the cries of birds, not the sound of the wind and the noise of cars, nothing. Just silence. Everything returned to normal after the object moved to the left,”added a local resident.
The case is being investigated by MUFON Chief Investigator James Millard.
