An unprecedented predator again attacked defenseless sheep in the suburbs. An emergency happened again this morning in the village of Raduzhny, Kolomensky district

The attack on domestic animals was repeated on the farm of Vasily Velikodnev. The beast has bitten 12 sheep! And in mid-September, the monster wounded 33 sheep during the night and sucked blood from many animals.

Then all the traces and signs of an attack did not indicate to specialists any existing animal. Therefore, they blamed everything on the mysterious Chupacabra, which allegedly periodically kills domestic animals in agriculture.

“I’m just shocked,” Vasily Velikodnev sighs into the phone. “After the last attack, I closed the sheep in the pen, but yesterday the weather was fine and we didn’t drive them in so that they could be outdoors. But at night the predator bit the sheep again. I called the police and veterinarians. Now they are working, and I was told to stand near the corral. So far, I cannot say exactly where the wounds of the sheep are, but I see that they cannot walk and some have bloody spots in the throat area …

It turned out that in the morning four sheep had already died, and eight more had been bitten.

“Our employees, headed by the head of the local police department, went to the scene,” Larisa Nikulina, press secretary of the Kolomenskoye Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, told Komsomolskaya Pravda. “They interviewed the veterinarians and they thought that a stray dog could attack the farm. This dog is large, presumably a fighting breed. Or it could easily be a Caucasian Shepherd Dog. Now the police will interrogate local residents, and then look for a possible owner of the dog.

In the meantime, veterinarians performed an autopsy on one sheep in the pen on the farm and took tissue samples for analysis. Investigations into the heads of the last killed sheep are ongoing.

“We are testing them for rabies,” the “KP” correspondent was told at the city veterinary inspection of Kolomna. - So far, initial results are negative. However, it is still too early to judge whether the sheep are infected or not. After all, it takes about a month to get accurate data. In the Moscow region, outbreaks of rabies periodically occur, in this regard the area is unfavorable.

What kind of predator attacked the farm both then and last night, the veterinarians still cannot say for sure.

- You see, this takes time, - explained to us the head of the Moscow Regional Veterinary Laboratory Tamara Maslova. - First of all, veterinarians are really obliged to check carcasses for rabies. This research really takes about four weeks. Only after the final results can veterinarians proceed with other analyzes and make some assumptions.

In the near future, experts of the Rosselkhoznadzor will begin to understand the strange incident.

“We know about the incident on the farm in Raduzhny,” Irina Vinogradova, the Rosselkhoznadzor media relations officer, told KP. “In the near future, we are waiting for a work permit from the Moscow region prosecutor’s office.

Correspondents of "KP" went to the farm, where 12 sheep were bitten during the night. In the near future we will tell you about the mysterious attack in more detail.
