Increasingly, in recent years, Western publications have referred to the publication of the New York Times late last year on the Pentagon investigation report on the 2004 UFO incident. This is a secret program of the Department of Defense, which has been investigating UFO reports for almost 10 years. One of the reports analyzed by the Advanced Aerospace Threat Program described a white oval object pursued by two F / A-18F fighters off the coast of California in 2004. The object, which has since been known as the Tic Tac UFO, flew with fantastic high speed.

"It moved like nothing I've ever seen," US Navy pilot David Fravor, who flew one of the fighters that day, told The New York Times.

In Las Vegas, the news team of investigations produced a 13-page paper that analyzes what happened that day in 2004. The investigation was led by journalist George Knapp, known for his investigations into UFO news reports.

The report describes how an anomalous air vehicle (AAV) spotted by two F18 pilots could drop its flight altitude with an incredible acceleration from about 18.3 km to 150 meters in literally a matter of seconds. Moreover, the UFO "hovered" and remained stationary on radars, and then made incredible maneuvers, changing the trajectory of flight at great speed.

The report details the advanced performance of the AAV, which was also spotted by another aircraft carrier off the coast of California a few days before the UFO attempted to accompany the F18. The unidentified object possessed incredible thrust and aerodynamic parameters that allowed it to achieve super-acceleration, and was also inert towards the US Navy's radar systems. The report also admits that the UFO demonstrated its stealth capabilities by controlling the sensors of underwater vehicles, which, with varying degrees of success, could detect it. Thus, representatives of another civilization have confirmed their highly developed abilities.

The report notes how one of the aircraft carrier's crew members with 17 years of experience in the military said the AAV was demonstrating the characteristics of a ballistic missile. The reason the aircraft carrier's radar system was unable to track the object was that it was designed to monitor conventional aircraft, so when the object appeared on radar it was dropped as a decoy target. "If the radar were configured to track ballistic missiles, they would probably have the ability to track AAV," the report said.

When the F18 pilots were brought in to investigate this event, they could not rely on radar information. Nevertheless, the characteristics of the radio signals that the pilots managed to collect looked strange. “It was obvious that there was something there, and the military was taking it seriously,” the report says. Yet UFOs were not viewed as a threat by the pilots. One of the pilots estimated the diameter of the AAV to be between 50 and 100 meters.

Some of the military personnel involved in the investigation are sure that what they saw was of an extraterrestrial nature.
