When my cousin Ilya Matveyevich, who lived in a nearby yard, sold his favorite, an old kopeck, for scrap metal, tears welling up in his eyes. It is understandable - so many years together. No offense to his wife Antonina Arkadyevna, Ilya Matveyevich did not look after her as much as an old Zhigulenka.

But, having bought a used "Audi", he very soon felt the difference between our "classic" and a foreign car.

But one day the foreign machine broke down. I just got up. It's warm, late April, but it didn't start up in the morning. Ilya Matveyevich reviewed everything, went over - it's useless. He shouted to Ivanitch's neighbor, a retired auto repairman, and after an hour and a half, he just threw up his hands:

- I don’t understand!

The next day Ilya Matveyevich decided to take the Audi to the service by a rope. Again in the morning we went out with the same Ivanitch, already taken in tow. But my uncle decided to insert the key into the ignition to clear his conscience. Turned - the engine rumbled busily. A relative went to the service just in case.

The masters checked everything - they say everything is in order. Over time, Ilya Matveyevich forgot about this incident. Until that time, until "Audi" did not arrange a similar scene. Moreover, exactly one year later.

Ilya Matveyevich remembered the date well, since six years ago he retired on a day to day basis. And again the car stopped, and again nothing could start it. But the next morning "Audi" started up with a half turn!

I have always known my uncle as a pragmatic person. He did not believe in miracles - but here, apparently, he was hooked. I decided to find out if it was all a coincidence or some pattern. I found the phone number of the person who sold him the Audi and started talking. And that's what I learned.

Promotional video:

The car that the uncle bought belonged to the seller, but his son drove it by proxy. Then the guy got into an accident and died. Surprisingly, the car was almost not damaged, but the son received a fatal head injury.

And it was at the end of August - on the same date (albeit with a difference of several years) when Ilya Matveyevich's colleagues saw him off to retire.

Then "Audi" stood idle for almost a year. And finally, the father of the deceased guy decided to get rid of her. So the car came to my uncle. It turns out, no matter how surprising it may sound, the day when its owner died, the "Audi" was mourning.

Apparently, time heals not only people. For two years the car was capricious on the same day, and on the third it drove like a sweetheart. But Ilya Matveyevich, starting the engine and immediately drowning it, decided to give the car a rest. He himself said that he was afraid of a "dirty trick" - what if he stalled in the middle of the road?

But it seemed to me that he did it out of sympathy for his new favorite - let him, they say, grieve about the past. True, even if I guessed correctly, my relative did not dare to say this out loud - they would still laugh.
