Soul and Body are two multidimensional energy-informational objects, interconnected by an energy vortex,
referred to as "Silver Thread". To put it simply, the frequencies of these objects are different, so we perceive the body with our senses as a dense object, but our 5 senses do not perceive the soul.
The body has its own consciousness, like any clot of energy-information in the Universe. Body consciousness is limited to what we call unconditioned reflexes - nutrition, response to stimuli, self-preservation. The presence of these two different objects (Soul and Body) explains such phenomena as coma, lethargic sleep, loss of consciousness - when there is a temporary or permanent separation of soul and body.
Astral travel is based on the separation of soul and body, when the consciousness located in the mental body and being a part of the soul is disconnected from the physical body and can independently move in multidimensional space (and not only in the 3-dimensional physical world). At the same time, the soul continues to be connected to the body by the "Silver Thread", which is an energetic vortex and can "stretch" and "shrink".
Two objects - Soul and Body perform different functions. The body is adapted to life in a 3-dimensional physical world, the world of cause-and-effect relationships, where it performs the function of a temporary "spacesuit" for the soul. The soul dwells in a multidimensional world, which it learns to perceive as it develops. At the initial stages of the development of the soul, its perception is limited to the physical world in which the body dwells.
Despite the apparent external similarity, human bodies carry different qualities.

Not every body is "fit" for every soul. Therefore, the choice of a partner and the birth of children is a much more serious and responsible moment than modern science represents today. Parents at conception capture the soul for which they will create a body. Depending on many factors, only souls with certain parameters and level of development can be captured by each particular pair. To enhance their soul capture opportunities, newlyweds are advised, in particular, not to drink alcohol at the wedding. With the aim of giving birth to more intelligent descendants (capturing more developed souls), there have historically been restrictions on marriages in the clans of the aristocracy and in royal families.
The vortex of energy created by the couple in the process of conception captures the soul of their unborn child and forms the "Silver Thread" that attaches this soul to the fertilized egg.
At death, the "Silver thread" is broken and the Soul is released from the next incarnation. There are situations when the soul leaves the body without breaking the “Silver Thread” for a more or less long time. Such states are known as Satori - short-term separation and Samadhi - long-term separation. The bodies of people in a state of Satori or Samadhi are in a special state. They show no signs of life, but neither do they decompose. The imperishable bodies in the caves of Tibet are the bodies of people in the state of Samadhi. During Satori and Samadhi, the Soul moves into multidimensional space and leaves the physical world.
