Poisonous yellow landscapes, a completely unearthly shade of water - this is only one side of the coin. On the other hand, active and dormant volcanoes, poisonous fumes, lakes of sulfuric acid and oil, nomads not the most friendly to strangers made Danakil one of the most dangerous points on our planet. However, this does not prevent it from remaining quite popular among tourists.
