This story is kept in my memory, as if it happened the day before … It happened at the end of May 1992. I went fishing on the Cheremshan River. It was early morning, I chose fish from the nets and already wanted to start the motorcycle to drive home. Suddenly I heard a voice sounding like in my head.
He ordered: "Sit down."
I turned around and saw a human figure in the predawn haze. At first I thought that this "cop" was meeting me with a fish, and my first thought was to run away. But the same voice reassured him, saying that he should not be afraid. And all the fear disappeared somewhere. I realized that in front of me was not an ordinary person, but, possibly, an alien from outer space. He was wearing a suit: a jumpsuit-type suit, gray with flashes. The color is vaguely similar to the screen when the TV is off. On the head is something like a helmet of the same color. I could not make out the face, since it was covered with a glass surface such as a visor. The newcomer was slim, about one meter and eighty in height.
He asked if I wanted to talk to him. I nodded in the affirmative. A conversation began, if it can be called a conversation in the usual sense of the word. The stranger, answering my questions, seemed to be scrolling through the footage of a film strip right in my brain, and sometimes just nodding his head in agreement. He knew what I was thinking and read all my thoughts.
I remember asking him why they don't openly come into contact with people. The stranger replied that they had instructions forbidding them to interfere in our lives. They believe that humanity should develop in its own way. The alien compared our civilization to ants. I understood that he meant that their civilization is as far from humanity in its development as our civilization is from ants. He said that we are of interest to them, like the savages they watch develop. I also learned that where he came from, time is measured differently. Their life expectancy is about 700 years according to our chronology. They wear protective devices on their heads to protect them from external influence so that no one else can read their thoughts. In general, in some 20 minutes he put so much into my head,that even in a book you can't tell everything.
At the end of the conversation, I tried to protect the earthlings: I said that mankind nevertheless went into space, and, they say, we are not that backward. To this, the alien answered with irony that we will conquer space as long as we conquered the ocean in due time. And he clearly showed me the history of the development of water spaces by people. How they sailed on fragile rowing boats from island to island and so on.

He also told me that several civilizations visit our Earth. These are mainly young civilizations that are looking for the rare elements they need on Earth, which we will not need for a long time. Other representatives of extraterrestrial intelligence come to us mainly for refueling. And what do you think? With water! He also warned that, seeking to communicate with extraterrestrial civilizations, you can get to their zoo, and not on a tour. He also explained the purpose of their visit to Earth as collecting information and studying the structure of the solar system.
In conclusion, he showed me in pictures that if I told everyone about what I saw and understood, then no one would believe me. Indeed, no matter who I told about the meeting with the alien, no one believed me. I had never seen anything like it before. I am a materialist and believe in science, and the meeting with an alien became a confirmation of my guess that we are not alone in space.
