On the night from Sunday to Monday, unidentified flying objects were recorded in the sky over the Lithuanian capital. Climatologists and experts interested in UFOs tend to argue about their origin, writes Lietuvos žinios. “This is not fireball. This phenomenon is not from the field of meteorology,”said meteorologist Audrone Galvonaite after studying the photographs of Eduardas

Objects in the night sky were recorded by a resident of Vilnius Eduardas, who lives on A. Goshtauto Street. According to him, in the sky, he saw sparkling balls, which he managed to shoot with a camera.

“In total, eight or nine balloons appeared in a few minutes, they flew much faster than the plane and, in the end, disappeared over the horizon,” he said.

The day before, on Sunday, a strong heat was recorded in Vilnius, then the elements raged over the city - there was a downpour, thunder roared. Therefore, the idea arose that perhaps Eduardas observed the fireball.

“This is not a fireball. There are no so many objects in one place, in addition, they can only be seen near the ground. This phenomenon is not from the field of meteorology,”said meteorologist Audrone Galvonaite after examining the photographs of Eduardas. Neither the military, to whom the newspaper Lietuvos žinios addressed, nor the administrator of the site about flying unidentified objects, Jonas Skendalis, dared to explain what got into the lens of a Vilnius resident.

“On the other hand, I never say“can’t be”until I can be sure of it myself,” J. Skändyalis commented on the pictures of Eduardas.

“Some phenomena are easy to explain, others are more difficult. Moreover, the military all over the world often hide such information from the public,”J. Skendalis said.
