An ordinary city. Above the asphalt sidewalk there is a kind of "arch" formed by a lamppost and - at an angle to it - by a retaining post that holds it. To the left of this structure there are bushes and a roadway, to the right is a fence of a private house. Between the base of the retaining post and the fence is less than half a meter. But in this narrow and uncomfortable crack a distinct path has been trodden.
Why don't people want to walk here on the asphalt, under the "arch"? After all, it is of excellent quality, the path is straight. No, you have to make a squiggle and squeeze between the post and the fence!
