There is not much information about the Aksha village on the Internet. It is known that the village was founded by peasants who came from Totma in 1750. The settlement is located in close proximity to the border of Russia and Mongolia. In a straight line to the border about forty kilometers. The village is located on the banks of the Onon River, the source of which is in Mongolia. The coordinates are visible in the screenshot above. According to ancient legends, in the Delyun-Bolok tract, on the banks of this river, Genghis Khan was born. And according to Mongolian information, he was also buried somewhere in this area, near the village of Nizhniy Tsasuchey.

As you can see in the pictures, the administration of the settlement is not trying in any way to preserve this stellar structure. Half of the fortress is built up with some kind of outbuildings. Although in our country, the authorities generally prefer to be silent about such objects. They are there, but they are not there. They like to build stadiums on the "stars" with some kind of mania. This is what we see in the images from satellite maps.

The width of the fortress is 300 meters. The embankments are still clearly visible.

It is very regrettable to see that the attitude of the authorities towards our history is extremely “devil-may-care”. After all, this is a real, historical place. Moreover, the name of Genghis Khan could serve well into the hands of such a noble object.
