The American people need to understand that the climate is actually changing, says John McCain. However, not all colleagues agree with his opinion, including US President Donald Trump.

In an interview with CNN on the issue of climate change from Jake Tupper, McCain said that people need to understand that the climate can change and all that is needed is to turn on common sense and take the necessary measures that will not harm the American people.

It should be noted that the interview took place at the same time that Hurricane Irma was raging in Florida, threatening almost all of the southeastern part of the state, after a devastating road through the Caribbean.

Hurricane 4 Harvey raged last month, hitting Texas and Louisiana. As a result, about sixty people died and property damage was inflicted in the amount of about one hundred and eighty billion dollars.

A report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released last month found greenhouse gas concentrations at record levels.

Based on a study by scientists, published in July, it is said that in the coming decades, dozens of American cities may face severe flooding and that America's withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement could only exacerbate the effects of global warming.
