Today I will talk about one detail of ancient civilizations associated with megaliths, which is difficult for me to find an explanation for. As strange as it may sound at first glance, these are “steps”.

Few researchers ask such questions and write articles on this topic, but it seems to me that it is not easy to explain this. Earlier, I already wrote about the traces of indentation in megaliths throughout, the purpose of which is still in question, here there will be "steps".

It would seem obvious that in ancient times steps were cut in megaliths in order to climb somewhere. In the case of some large megalithic structures, there could be anything at the top and something ritual and just an overview.

However, "steps" were created in many places and if you pay attention to this, questions will arise. "Steps" were allegedly cut down either simply on the walls, or on megaliths, where, in principle, there is no need to go up.

In addition, there are many of the most ordinary stones in the world, rather small in size, which simply lie around, but they also made "steps" for unknown purposes.

And if in some megalithic complex everything is simply explained, then with simple megaliths questions arise. Would an ancient man begin to carve a stone with primitive tools, where you can climb without any steps? I doubt it, since this is a lot of unnecessary and unnecessary work.

This is not to mention the fact that I clearly remember that some of the "steps" were also created in granite, which raises even more questions.

I asked about the same questions when writing an article with recesses, recesses, they can be called whatever you like, located all over the world, in almost all megaliths and ancient structures.

Only if there I could assume a version with a fastening of cables for moving through the air, for example, then in this case it is difficult to come up with something believable and mundane.

No matter how funny it is, but explaining the "steps" is difficult for me personally, especially in those places where they are not needed, but they were created. By the way, in some places these steps were created according to calculations, while grinding the surface almost to a smooth state.

I will not voice too fantastic versions, as this is too, for the seemingly primitive "steps" in megaliths. But I also have mundane versions of the purpose of these "steps".

Alternatively, in those places where their existence seems absurd, something else could exist, let it be some kind of structure, this is not so important. In this case, the importance of the "steps" is understandable.

In general, it is rather difficult to judge how important the role of the ascent to some megalithic platform, structure, high point of the terrain, etc. was. At a minimum, it depends on the level of development of civilization and the purpose of all these details in the megaliths, which now leave only questions for us.

You can end there. I confess that I can't come up with some plausible purpose, but I won't write anything absurd either. One way or another, it is not particularly possible to explain some of the "steps" in the megaliths for ascent, since it is stupid or simply impossible.

I don’t think that ancient people had so much to do that they carved steps in ordinary stones.
