Theoretical physicist Freeman Dyson published the idea of a hypothetical megastructure, later named after him, back in 1959, but recently the Dyson sphere has been exciting the minds of scientists especially intensively - it's all about the discovery of a number of strange stars with variable brightness, which can only be explained by the existence Dyson spheres in reality.
The Dyson sphere is, if someone is not in the know, a hypothetical (that is, existing only in the imagination of people) structure, which, according to Freeman Dyson, must surely surround their stars by highly developed alien civilizations.
When Dyson developed his concept, he assumed that only aliens, who had made incredible progress in technology, could surround their luminaries in giant spheres.
However, modern scientists believe that someday humanity will be able to create something similar.
Such prospects, however, are still very, very vague. Now, according to scientists, something else is important - if highly developed aliens really have technologies similar to the Dyson sphere, then we, the inhabitants of the Earth, have all the technical capabilities to detect them.
In general, astronomers are confident that in the coming years, people can get real confirmation of the existence of aliens.
