There is an opinion among the people that many gypsies from birth have special magical abilities: they see the future of other people and have hypnosis skills. However, these women prefer to use all their supernatural powers and paranormal abilities only to deceive people and steal money from them.
It is not known how true the myth about the mysterious magic of the nomadic people is, but one can only envy the deep knowledge of swarthy fraudsters in the field of psychology.
At the heart of the Gypsy technology of deception, which is passed down from generation to generation, is the principle of continuous "spelling" that overloads the victim's brain. From an overflow of excess information, a person comes into a kind of stupor: his thought processes slow down, his consciousness ceases to soberly assess what is happening, and his will weakens.
Gypsies lull their victim with wave-like intonation of speech, and also use non-standard forms of constructing sentences, which even more interferes with the work of consciousness. During the conversation, the fortuneteller casually takes the right palm of the “client” into her hands, blocking the left hemisphere of the brain, which is responsible for behavior and control of the situation.
After the performed manipulations, it is often difficult for an unprepared person to break the established contact.
Most often, scammers work according to the following scheme:
1) A gypsy woman looks out for a random person with a detached or dreamy expression on her face and asks him some "innocent" question, the answer to which is usually given automatically. For example, a passerby is asked about the time or direction to the metro.
2) Then the fortuneteller is scattered in gratitude and offers to predict the future for free. She tries to intrigue the interlocutor with words about the evil intentions of the "black" person and an imminent misfortune that can be prevented.

3) Next, the gypsy drags her "client" into the ritual: she rips off the hair from her head, asks to blow, spit, repeat the words of the magic spell.
4) Then a large bill is lured away from the victim, in which the torn hair must be wrapped. The gypsy, through certain manipulations and distracting gestures, steals or replaces the money received. And if the "client" has already "floated", then his wallet is completely cleared.
Surprisingly, often a robbed person does not even notice the deception, and does not immediately realize that he has become a victim of a generally good psychologist. Finally, at the end of the conversation, the gypsy gives him a few more recommendations that must be fulfilled at home to complete the "rite", and quickly disappears.
In order not to become a victim of fraud, you need to monitor your facial expression if there are gypsies around. They prefer to bypass a cheerful or angry person. If this does not work, then try to get away from communicating with fortune-tellers by accelerating your pace and breaking the distance.
In the event that the conversation does begin, try to interrupt the speaking gypsy woman, ask her questions about her children and husband. When talking, do not look the fraudster in the eye, move and gesticulate so as not to fall into a stupor.
And all the time, try to leave as soon as possible, not paying the slightest attention to threats and evil curses. The accidental victim is simply scared, and you are not in any real danger. If there are a lot of gypsies around, then just run.
