A Texas resident named Kim told her story of how she probably met Death itself in a paranormal podcast site Beyond The Darkness in late August.
“In those years I was younger and lived in California. Me and my girlfriend went late at night to visit our friend and I was driving that time.
I turned into the desired one-way street and when I almost drove up to a friend's house, I pulled up near two large buildings.
They were two tall tenement buildings with a long narrow passage between them and a large archway. And when I slowed down and was about to leave, my friend and I simultaneously noticed this creature in the passage.
First of all, we immediately realized that it was of enormous height, almost three meters and was dressed in a thick black hoodie long to the toes. It immediately reminded us both of Death, as it is usually painted, only without the braid. True, instead of a head, the creature did not have a skull, but there was something else and on the “face” only two large dark holes were visible instead of eyes.
The creature had no hands or could not be seen under the hoodie.
I remember how I looked at his attire perfectly, it was a huge mass of beautifully flowing black fabric, and all this mass slowly but surely approached us, moving very smoothly.

I was immediately seized by horror and there was a moment when time seemed to slow down, it seems that it flows endlessly, but in fact only a couple of seconds pass. And that was just such a moment. And then my friend screamed “Get out of here!” And it “woke me up”. But then another misfortune happened.
I had a small problem with the gearbox in my car and when I decided to go, it jammed at that moment. I just couldn't get the car off the brake. I almost panicked, but then somehow I pulled myself together and mentally wished that everything was as it should be, and the car started working immediately!
I took off and my friend and I drove for about 45 minutes, never stopping, we were so scared. We drove through almost the entire city. It was almost nightfall and it was difficult to find an empty parking lot.
When we finally found her, we both sat there and then said to each other "Tell me what you saw." When we compared both stories, we found out that we saw the same thing. That is, this creature was not a hallucination."
