The eruption in the eastern rift zone of the Kilauea volcano, which began on May 3, created another, 22nd eruptive crack, which forced the authorities to evacuate another 2,000 people living in the area

However, the saddest thing in this situation, as we said earlier, is not at all this.

Everyone remembers the video taken in early May, when lava slowly, centimeter by centimeter, devours a fence and an abandoned car:

Now look at the live broadcast, which periodically shows either lava fountains or lava rivers. In this case, we are only interested in the lava river:

For those who did not see the difference, we quote the words of a local resident, a certain Aaron Mitchell, who tells in an interview how he was driving along Pohoiki road to check his house when suddenly lava crossed the road. He estimated that the lava was moving at 10 feet per minute:

“The fire was swallowing the trees every minute. It was probably the scariest moment in my life."

Thus, the road to Mr. Mitchell was crossed by fast moving lava, apparently emanating from crack 20:

Another name for the term "fast moving lava" is high temperature lava. That is, it is fresher and hotter.

The geologists of the Hawaiian Volcanic Observatory (HVO), who studied the lava samples, say straightforwardly that for the first two weeks magma flowed from the fissures, which remained after the 1955 eruption. New magma is hotter, less viscous and therefore moves quickly and easily. And in this moment there are at least two dangers.

First, people are now having difficulty evacuating. If before the lava moved so slowly that it was possible to slowly load things into the car, smoke, wipe the windows and go along the free road, now everything happens so quickly that people can often be evacuated exclusively by helicopters.

The airship with observers over Gavi does not hang in the air, the patrol helicopter does not hang constantly either, and the mobile one, as we all know, is not absolutely stable, at a critical moment it may not work. It's scary to even imagine what awaits people who have fallen into a fire trap without emergency communication.

The second, and most important, dangerous moment is the amount of new lava that all comes and comes. USGS just shrugs its shoulders and cannot officially say - is the eruption already ending or has it not even begun yet?

The USGS will have to help, as we already helped them on April 6, when the local expensive seismographs did not hear any imminent eruption. However, people heard him:

On the subject of the strange and frightening hum of the Earth, which those who hear this live are often associated with the Trumpets of the Apocalypse, there are many versions, including even a group of mentally disadvantaged people who consider everything a fake YouTubers. In this case, the eruption in Hawaii is also, probably, a fake and there really is nothing there, the lava rivers are filmed by Hollywood in the space pavilion for landing on Mars.

The version that apocalyptic sounds are of tectonic origin has been expressed more than once and now, having a correlation with the most powerful eruption in Hawaii, this version seems the most convincing.

Apparently similar frightening vibrations, sometimes similar to the sound of gigantic pipes, sometimes to the singing of a distant choir, create either moving tectonic strata or magma pouring under terrible pressure into huge underground reservoirs. On this basis, it can be assumed that, since, before past eruptions there were no trumpets in Hawaii, the current eruption in Hawaii will become the Mother of All Eruptions. And we cannot even imagine how it will end there.

But we can vividly imagine where there will still be similar geological events, because people have heard the Trumpets of the Apocalypse for a long time and all over the world:

As it is clear from the videos, geological processes by their nature are not very fast, trumpet sounds have been registered in the world for several years, but so far, except for Hawaii, nothing terrible has happened anywhere.

However, Hawaii, where magma (more precisely, a magma plume from the mantle) was closest to the surface and where everything immediately began, shows dynamics - that is, a sequence of how everything will happen in not very far away practically all over the world. For people living in regions where similar trumpet sounds were, this gives some experience and a certain amount of time to prepare.

We follow the development of events.
