A resident of the city of Kingsport, located in northeastern Tennessee in a valley among the Appalachians, on the evening of January 18, 2017, observed a black triangular UFO.
“I left my house at about 7 pm,” an eyewitness said in his report to the World UFO Network (MUFON). "When I pressed the key to unlock the car door, I looked up and saw several lights."
According to the observer, a strange triangular object hovered over his house with bright white lights located at the tops, and a red light blinked in the center of the triangle. The object moved towards the mountains "painfully slowly". At some point, the right corner of the triangle went up a little, and the whole plane gently tilted to the left.
“I really hoped that someone would leave the house and I could show him the UFO, but no one came out. I looked at my watch to see the time. It was 7:10 pm,”wrote an eyewitness.
He could not determine exactly how high the UFO was moving, but he saw that the front corner of the triangle was a little blurry, despite the fact that the sky was crystal clear. For about 5 minutes, the eyewitness did not take his eyes off the object, which was moving away in a southerly direction.
“I find it difficult to say what I felt. I just studied it and timed it. I even chuckled at the thought that I was watching aliens,”added a local resident who, along with the report, sent his simple drawing to MUFON.
