About what we discussed at this forum, as well as about unusual phenomena in our region, we talked with the head of the Cosmopoisk group in Kazan Maria Petrova, who just recently returned from the congress.
- Why did the Volga congress of "Cosmopoisk" take place in the Verkhneuslonsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan opposite the Sviyazhsk island? Is this a special area from the point of view of ufologists?
- No, this area is not a special zone. When we were looking for a place for a camp, we first of all proceeded from the necessary conditions for it - the availability of water, firewood and other things. Well, besides, we have been studying the Verkhneuslonsky district for several years, the work of our group in 2002 just started with it. Although this area is not drawn to the anomalous zone, what happens there from time to time attracts our attention. There is little UFO activity there. Of interest is the island of Sviyazhsk itself, built up with monasteries and temples. But it is known that they were not built just like that, but in places with powerful positive energy. And the temples themselves are capable of accumulating such positive energy. In the same place, there is a confluence of three rivers, and this is also a powerful force carried by water. And also, having set up a camp opposite the island of Sviyazhsk,at the same time we wanted to show the participants of the congress one of the local cultural attractions of Tatarstan.
- What was the congress dedicated to, what problems were discussed at it?
- The congress was devoted primarily to organizational issues, their solutions.
Various problems were discussed: from the methodology for writing research reports and ending with plans for the future. In addition, at the congress there was a conversation about our projects: "Project Dromos" and "Five-fold camouflage". In a nutshell, the first of them is devoted to modern problems of ufology. And "Fivefold Camouflage" develops methods for finding UFO bases. It is believed that they can be located in deserts, mountain gorges, and marshy areas. And then there is the assumption that all the UFO evidence is camouflage. Aliens or those who want to impersonate them, deliberately provide incorrect information in order to hide the traces of their activities, so that researchers of this phenomenon are not looking there.
- Is Naberezhnye Chelny of any interest from the point of view of Cosmopoisk? Have eyewitnesses of anomalous phenomena from Chelny sent you their testimonies?
- Unfortunately, despite the fact that there are people in Chelny who are fond of anomalous phenomena, we receive very little information from your city. But we hope that in the future we will have a more complete picture of what is happening in Chelny. After all, any eyewitness can write or call us.
- Tell us about the Yuryevsky caves and the Almetyevsky arches.
- The Yuryevskaya cave system is located in the Kamsko-Ustinsky region of the Republic of Tatarstan between the village of Kamskoye Ustye and the 9 January mine on the Volga bank. The cave was first described by A. Stupishin in 1967 and has been a natural monument since 1986. We organized an expedition here in 2004. Here we got acquainted with the cave, as well as with the old abandoned adits, which were created at the beginning of the last century during the production of gypsum. In the cave and the adits, we conducted an experiment on the perception of time in a confined space, during which we were really convinced that such conditions strongly influence a person and his perception of time. Most of the participants had their internal "clocks" in a hurry.
Almetyevsk arches, as the name suggests, are located in the Almetyevsk region, more precisely, a little north (about 10 km) of the city itself. They were discovered thanks to the observation of spelestologist Alexey Gunko (ROSI) and the Google Earth service, which provides high-resolution and good quality satellite images of the earth.
As a result of viewing these images, interesting clearings in the forest area were noticed, having an amazingly regular arcuate geometry. Moreover, when drawing imaginary lines, these glades were on the same line, bypassing the crops, they were like a continuation of each other. There was a tempting analogy with the figures on the Nazca plateau, which researchers take for a map of the starry sky, compiled by non-earthlings.
It is possible that this phenomenon was associated with oil production in the area.
- In addition to ufological research, you also work with paranormal phenomena. Tell us about this area of your activity.
- In our group there are several people who are mainly engaged in this area of activity. Conditionally we call them "Ghostbusters". For example, over the past year they studied seven objects in Kazan, including the park of the recreation center "Chemists", the garden "Hermitage" and the house of K. Fuchs. This year, Shosseinaya Street attracted the attention of "hunters", but at the moment everything is "clean" at this address. The Hermitage Garden became famous for the fact that in the 19th century there lived a nobleman-murderer, who was distinguished by special cruelty in his treatment of serfs. Then there was an illegal cemetery where people were buried without a funeral service. Now no matter how they try to reanimate and equip the park, it is still falling into decay. This is how the whole history of its existence in this place happened. A recreation center "Chemists" was built on the former cemetery of the monastery. In Soviet times, all the graves were razed to the ground and a building was built on the bones. There was a time when watchmen reported seeing ghosts. Now the monastery has been restored and there is no such activity.
