Remember the tale where Baba Yaga ran through the forest, standing in a mortar and driving a broom? But don't be in a hurry to smile. It turns out that this fabulous vehicle has a fairly well-known analogue.
The whole ancient history of India is real historical facts mixed with fairy tales. As in Indian films, simple human feelings are mixed with incredible spectacular impossible stunts.
Ancient Sanskrit texts are full of stories of gods fighting in the sky on fiery vehicles called vimanas. Moreover, the Indians themselves sincerely believe that these are real historical events.
Unlike other fabulous flying machines, vimaanas stand apart. There are so many of them in Sanskrit legends that it is time to believe in their existence. The description of the devices themselves and the weapons on them, it is difficult to imagine fiction. They are so believably and scientifically described that it seems that these texts were written by engineers. Not only in folklore, but also in the architecture of ancient India, there is a lot of evidence of these devices. In fact, the entire ancient history is saturated with evidence of the existence of vimanas.
A serious fact of their existence is the ancient drawings, diagrams and principles of work. They are written so believable and technically sound that many have tried, and are still trying to recreate this amazing machine.
Fascist Germany has done an enormous amount of work in this direction. A whole laboratory was created to study the principles of movement of the vimanas.
Ancient texts say that the propulsion system of the vimana works on the interaction of mercury and magnets. I must say that fairly well-known scientists and designers have tried to recreate such an installation. And some have made great progress.
Today in India there is a community of enthusiasts who believe that vimanas are found under temples. They cite a number of evidences where, after the start of excavations, the authorities urgently classify everything. They are sure that there is a base where these devices are stored. This is a kind of Indian "zone 51".

In the history of mankind, there is no more real evidence of the antiquity of flying vehicles in people than evidence of vimanas. The presence of technical documentation, an engineering description of weapons and principles of operation, makes the vimanas half mystical and half real devices of the ancients.
So maybe the notorious stupa of Baba Yaga, the ball with a trophy aircraft, obtained by the ancient, Slavic warriors?
