Emil Bachurin, the discoverer of the M-triangle anomalous zone, died in a fire in his house. Perm ufologist Nikolai Subbotin writes about this on the city Internet forum

On February 24, 2009, Emil Fedorovich Bachurin, the discoverer of the anomalous zone M-triangle, died tragically in his home in Molebka. Having glorified the Perm paradise with this discovery in the 80s of the last century for the whole world, he systematically studied it for 25 years.

Also, Bachurin was considered one of the most competent researchers of anomalous phenomena and UFOs in Russia, participated in many expeditions, some of them managed to visit with him (for example, the 1998 expedition to the Tien Shan mountains to the site of the alleged UFO disaster). He has taken part in the filming of many UFO documentaries.

Emil Fedorovich was the author of about a hundred articles on ufology, anomalistics, extrasensory perception, the author of the book "On the other side of the absurd present" and an unpublished monograph "UFO: explanation of the inexplicable." Bachurin was the first to develop a classification of diseases of researchers of anomalous zones, a classification of the negative impact of UFOs. Thanks to him, Molebka is now known to all researchers of anomalous phenomena in Russia and abroad.

In recent years, he lived alone in Molebka in his wooden house. On the night of February 24, due to a malfunction of the oven, a fire broke out, Bachurin suffocated in his sleep with carbon monoxide and could not get out, having burned down with his house. He has no relative. Now the body of Emil Fedorovich is under examination in Perm, which can last up to several weeks, or even a month, as the investigator said. Emil himself once said that he would like to be buried in Molebka next to the zone.
