In the heart of the Pyrenees, near the French town of Kutserans, there is an area called the Place of 18 Valleys. It is here that incredible mystical events take place every 50 years. The last one was in September 1972. The valley of Turguil is surrounded by 11 mountain peaks, and in the center of it there is an absolutely stunning in its beauty Lake Alet with bright blue and unusually clear water. There are many mysterious legends and stories about these places. One of them says that wolves with female heads live here.

From generation to generation, a warning was passed on that people should avoid these places, because more than one person disappeared forever, dissolving in the mirror waters of Lake Alet. On the shores of this lake live terrible sorceresses who more than once lured belated travelers into the otherworldly, looking-glass world. Some of them returned after a few weeks, but they looked very old, and their stories about life there frightened people. Of course, no one believed them. After a few months, everyone who returned from there went mad.

In September 1972, the young geologist Paul LeBlanc, lagging behind the group, got lost in the Turguila Valley, near Lake Alet. His worried comrades searched for Paul all night, and then for several more days they looked through every square meter from a helicopter, but to no avail. Two months later, Paul appeared in the resort town of Guzenes. The locals were shocked by his stories and questions. The geologist claimed that he was 33 years old, although he looked 50. In addition, he said that for many years he served as a priest in the temple, praying with parishioners, asking God to deliver them from the malice of wolves with female heads. Paul remembered well that he had once been a geologist, but claimed that it had been many years ago. Of course, many thought he was crazy, but some, remembering the stories of old people, believed him. Now scientists are working in the area of Lake Alet.
