A resident of Indiana ran to the police with a terrible statement: she claimed to have seen with her own eyes how her "obsessed" 9-year-old son walked on the walls and ceiling. The police might not have taken such a statement seriously if the social worker and nanny had not confirmed that something terrible was really happening in this house, which they themselves had witnessed.
According to the Indianapolis Star newspaper, the children of 32-year-old Latoya Ammons suddenly began to show signs of obsession - some ominous smiles and strange low voices appeared, and the 12-year-old daughter could even hang in the air.
It is amazing that all such incidents were recorded in official documents. Charles Austin of the Indiana State Police Department said that at first he was skeptical, but after several visits to the victim's house, he became convinced that something monstrous was really happening in this family. At the beginning, Charlie believed that the family was deliberately making up these stories in order to appear in the media and "get a little bit" on what was happening.
One Catholic priest even performed several exorcisms at Latoya's home. Over time, this story was overgrown with such eerie details that police officers became afraid to be in the house, and some city officials did not dare to step there.
According to the mother herself, the spirits that haunt her family only once left them alone. This was after a forced relocation and several rites of exorcism.
It all started with the fact that in November 2011 Latoya Ammons, along with three children and her mother, moved to a rented house. Soon, strange things began to happen in the house - either a swarm of flies would appear near the house, then footsteps would be heard in the basement, or wet footprints would be found on the floor.

In March 2011, Latoya heard eerie screams coming from the nursery. When the mother ran into the room, she saw her 12-year-old daughter hovering unconscious over the bed. Then the woman began to pray frantically until the girl regained consciousness. According to police information, the girl did not remember anything.
But the family's troubles did not end there. The psychic, who was invited by Latoya, said that about 200 spirits live in the house. And the family could not afford to move to another house due to the difficult financial situation.
Then the woman began to notice that her youngest child from time to time climbed into the closet and talked there with his "invisible friend", and once something with incredible force threw the boy out of the bathroom. At the same time, there was no one in the bathroom itself, and the child had to be taken to the hospital. Latoya became suspected of child abuse, and she was sent for examination to a psychiatric clinic. However, the psychiatrist stated that the woman was not mentally ill.
The nurses watching over the boy witnessed how he growled, rolled his eyes, and his face was distorted by a terrible grimace.
In the end, the woman made the decision to move out of the terrifying house. Since then, the ghosts have no longer bothered them.
